Advice Needed Re Insurance For Shipping Silver Bullion or Silver Coins

I have heard that the USPS (Post Office) Shipping Insurance does not honor silver values when there is a loss claim for silver bullion or silver coins. Have any of you had positive experiences or know of a reliable alternative Shipping Insurance for shipping silver bullion or silver coins? If so, can you please share the details? Thanks.
