What is the best, inexpensive filter system for a small aquarium? We keep minnows in it for fishing purposes because it’s too far to drive to town every couple of days to buy minnows. Also, what kind of plants might help with nitrates and ammonia I the water? The closest aquarium/pet store is 65 or so miles (Walmart is 25), so I will probably rely on Amazon for my filter purchase.
