I have a 2012 Toyota Corolla 1.8L and I found a significantly corroded wire on the alternator. I was wondering if I use a 4 gauge wire with a fuse, would I be able to attach it to the red battery terminal and bypass the corroded wire circuit completely? Walmart sold me counterfeit Apple product and won't refund me!

Hello - as the title says, I bought Apple airpods last year and just found out from the Apple store that they are counterfeit.
