I am wishing to use my iPad (usb-c) to connect to a projector through hdmi. Is the apple av adapter required? Or would any adapter like an anker adapter with hdmi do? Reason I ask is some adapters are only $30 or less while Apple’s is $70. And anker has many more different ports too.

I’ve been thinking about getting a desktop. I really only need it for schoolwork. Some apps like PowerPoint and excel just aren’t working out well on my iPad, and I’m doing lots of switching back and forth in apps which is getting annoying. Found this on marketplace.
