TIL in 1994 a journalist found a green jacket from the Augusta National Golf Club in a thrift store in Toronto and bought it for $5. He held on to it for years before selling to a colleague. Then in 2017, it was sold at auction for $139K. It's still unclear how it ended up in a Toronto thrift store.

Update on my thrift store find, aka my first custom!

Cleaned her up, swapped out her eyes and wig, and redid her face, need to get a finer paintbrush to finish her teeth and blush up her cheeks!

Finally won an online storage auction that I bid super low on. 5x10 full of high dollar furniture, lots of dishes and womens shoes/clothes. No consignment stores around here, and dont have time or the room to piece it out online.

Kodak Disc Camera

I found a Kodak disc camera at a thrift store. I don't know if it actually works or if I can even find the discs these days, especially since I live in a country where it would be really hard to find one. Do you think it's worth going back to the store for that camera? Even if it's just to keep it as a decoration? The camera looks a lot like the ones in the picture.

The hallmarks caught my eye! Searched the entire photo area of the thrift store and found an Italian one marked at 3g weight. Not a heavy find on either but beautiful and a steal at 4cad for both!

Hi guys, I'm a reseller online, like I find cool stuff at goodwill or thrift stores then resell it online. Ok so I'm going thru things my mom has been saving for a few years that need to be put online for sale, but I'm stumped on this one. It's 16" x 12" large brass bowl, but only with one handle. Any ideas on why the one handle?
