At a Humana in Germany. I know these aren’t proper thrifts store in the traditional sense, but still this is ridiculous. Nothing can even be made of this since it’s completely deteriorating.
It’s a play by the American playwright Arthur Miller. Tbh I didn’t know this was a highly celebrated book of the 20th century. Had only heard of it passingly but never took it seriously. However, I randomly picked it up at a thrift store last week. Don’t know why but thank god, I did. This is a tragic play based on the events surrounding a dysfunctional family, set in 1940s New York. It ...
Saw on a crossroads thrift store. Have no idea what it could be. It has a fake fur backside.
During the pandemic, I used gov’t funds to get a sewing machine. I made a few quilts, a zillion masks, then stalled out trying to make undies and pants. Life recovered. A few days ago, having committed to a T-Shirt Quilt, I opened a bin to find a bunch of scraps from my former projects, with degraded elastic and some pieces still pinned. Today I purged it and the bin of shrunken Kohls clothes t...
I found these boots the other day at the thrift store, the most incredible pair of boots ive ever had the pleasure of putting on my feet, unfortunately they were too small so i took a picture of them and what i thought was the logo in hopes of going home and looking them up online to get a pair my size, however it turns out what i thought was the logo is infact NOT, it just means "real leathe...

Cleaned her up, swapped out her eyes and wig, and redid her face, need to get a finer paintbrush to finish her teeth and blush up her cheeks!

If you are doing any spring cleaning, please consider posting to this group for somebody to potentially direct message you or comment to pick up items that you don't want to take to a thrift store or the local dump. If you're giving away electronics at least make sure they work before you give it to somebody. That is just courtesy. If you do not feel comfortable posting your address on your po...
Hi! My sister recently bought this bag from a thrift store and we’ve been wondering what bag it is, like the brand etc. We’ve run this picture through Google and stuff but nothing came up. This might be a long shot but if anyone has any idea let me know! Photo of the bag is in the comments since i forgot to add it here :D
I found a Kodak disc camera at a thrift store. I don't know if it actually works or if I can even find the discs these days, especially since I live in a country where it would be really hard to find one. Do you think it's worth going back to the store for that camera? Even if it's just to keep it as a decoration? The camera looks a lot like the ones in the picture.
Recently found this piece at a thrift store near me, which for all the world looks like an unfinished vintage piece. No name or markings, unpolished since the bead solder is still a little sharp in some places, and it doesn't look like stones were ever placed. Because it was donated I have no information or story on it. Does anyone see any clues which might shed some light on a maker or era? Ho...
I was standing on the edge of a dock by a lake when I notice a small gray tabby kitten that’s convulsing in the water. I looked around to see if anyone else was going to save it and when I realized there wasn’t, it had become motionless. So I grabbed it out of the water and started doing CPR. It spit out the water and I handed it to someone else to take to the hospital. Google says dreaming of...
The hallmarks caught my eye! Searched the entire photo area of the thrift store and found an Italian one marked at 3g weight. Not a heavy find on either but beautiful and a steal at 4cad for both!
Hi guys, I'm a reseller online, like I find cool stuff at goodwill or thrift stores then resell it online. Ok so I'm going thru things my mom has been saving for a few years that need to be put online for sale, but I'm stumped on this one. It's 16" x 12" large brass bowl, but only with one handle. Any ideas on why the one handle?
