Latest Discussions and Reviews About Sport Stores in USA
When did I become the person who wears athletic wear everywhere?
Three years ago, I was the guy who wore jeans and button-down shirts even on weekends. Then the pandemic hit, I started working from home, and something fundamental shifted. I bought my first tracksuit for morning walks, thinking it would stay as dedicated exercise clothing. That lasted about two weeks.
Now I own seven of them in different colors. I’ve worn them to casual dinners, grocery shopp...
I was into Pokémon back in 1999 and got back into it recently when I moved back to the US after 12 years abroad and found my 1999 collection.
I was at a sports store, and the guy wasn't super into Pokemon but gave me these unopened for $45.
I’m going to put them away and forget about them.
Just curios if I got a good deal on them?
For those of us who haven’t tagged out yet this season. What pants should we be wearing to cut the wind? My base layer is doing a decent job, the fleece and jacket are doing fine but, there’s not enough fat in my hind end or cartilage in my knees to keep them warm at the moment.
I see a lot of the farm stores and sport store are moving out the seasonal gear and I’m looking for recommendati...
Relatively new to riding a bike, in it for recreation only and don’t have a lot of money. Using a cheap early 2000s “hybrid” Columbia bike from some generic sports store that a neighbor fixed up. I bike on paved bike paths and gentle gravel/dirt. I’m aware that I don’t have the fastest/best bike out there but at the moment it provides excercise and enjoyment and I don’t have the money ...
I want to buy this cap so bad but I have only found it in this website: https://www.famcapstore.com/products/new-era-9forty-a-frame-mlb-los-angeles-dodgers-snapback?variant=49889163215188
The website is Europe based and supposedly has some exclusive collections, has anyone seen this elsewhere or is it really an exclusive of that store?
The problem is that buying it on that site the shipping and ...
Hi,
I am going to Les Menuires end-January. Last years, I had feetaches because I had troubles finding ski shoes adapted to my feet, and I am considering buying a pair of thermoformed ski shoes.
I saw some sport stores in big cities (e.g. Decathlon in Paris) sell ski shoes and provide thermoforming services. Another option is to go to a sport store at the ski resort – for instance, the big Int...
Hej all,
My brother is a brazilian football lunatic looking for cool jerseys while in Denmark.
We are now chasing nice AGF jersey(s) old and/or new. Is the AGF official store the only place to find them? The sports stores (like Sports24, etc.) doesn't seem to sell them, at least the ones I went to. They had fx Christiania SC but no AGF
So my parents both play table tennis pretty seriously, like 5x a day but they're older. I'm in China at the moment and want to get them some stuff that is hopefully world class and "safe" as most people can use it. Happy to spend $300-400 USD on it.
Just wondering if there are some like renowned paddles or rubbers or any other items that are a good choice to get them. Done some googlin...
Want to support my local team but buying official merch feels like taking out a small loan
I recently moved to a new city and I am trying to connect with the community by following the local football team. Everyone at work talks about the games, and there is this whole culture around match days that I want to be part of. Showing up to watch parties in plain clothes makes me feel like an outsider.
I looked at getting an official football jersey but the prices are insane. We are talking ...
Are there any sports stores in Ajax/Pickering that sharpen skates? I want to get mine sharpened before I go skating on Tuesday since I haven’t used them in a few years. I know Canadian Tire sharpens skates but I heard they aren’t very consistent. Any suggestions would help.
I was looking for a racket because the one I have has broken and I wasn’t completely happy with it, and while browsing in the biggest sports store in town I saw that they have a promotion. They’re selling a racket that is the Yonex Arcsaber TX and they’ve reduced the price from 110$ to 55$, and it also comes with a string and grip to change, but that’s not the main thing. Has anyone tried ...

As someone who doesn't travel outside okc much, are other malls better or are they all as sad as quail/penn?
Went xmas shopping at the malls for the first time in years just as something to do with the gf. Quail has a lot of vacant stores and most of them were all just clothing/jewelry/sports stores except a few. Penn has a bit more variety but nothing that was new and interesting. Most of the time if a store did seem worth walking into, the prices made you turn around and walk right back out.
The worst...
How a Hard-to-Find Palestine Soccer Jersey Sparked My Sports Store Idea
I am in the early stages of building something like a sports stop store. The idea is to stock different soccer jerseys from various countries and give sports lovers a wide range of options to choose from. I want it to feel like a one-stop space where fans can find jerseys that are not always easy to come by. I plan to start with football because it has a large and consistent customer base, then gr...
Hey all,
Me and my partner landed in Bangkok yesterday after 2 days of no sleep getting here from New Zealand, we went to check out MBK centre as we wanted to get some more comfortable shoes and some basic clothes such as shirts and shorts (something cheap) but we were both a bit over whelmed and our shopping style is quite a bit more slow and relaxed so we ended up leaving.
My question is: W...

Hello everyone! First of all, I’m new to this community and I’m on my way to becoming an amateur watch collector. I’d like to get some advice from people who know more about Casio watches than I do.
I’m thinking of buying one of the three watches in the pictures to wear at my workplace (I work as a sales associate in a sports store) and for gym. My intention is to get something durable an...
Ordered my first pair of skis, Armada ARV 100s with Salomon strive 14s. I’m in need of boots and live in an area with a small hill, no real ski shop around for hundreds of kms. Probably 8 hours drive to the closest one. Next year will be a ski trip or 2 and would like to at least hit the small hill this year.
26.5cm boot would be toes touching, 104mm forefoot with narrower heel. For those Cana...
