The box did say for printers

I qpicked this up and a desk for my wife at an Office Depot that was closing. It was all 70% off and I figured I would use the printer stand for my H2D printer and so far so good after a few prints and some laser engraving. I’m printing a Kingpin by Wicked scaled up 200%. The torso and base of it is just way too big for my Heygears resin printer so I printed it on the H2D and X1C. I’m shocked...

Rhodia or Midori MD for best note taking paper?

I found my ideal wet writing inks and fountain pens, now I want to maximize results and use nicer paper besides the generic $3 notebook paper I’ve been using from Office Depot for decades. Idk what a gsm is, I’ve never been to Japan. But I’m interested in exploring paper in this hobby and its different types and uses. What would you recommend?

Easy to tear 3x5 cards?

I'm working on Nick Diffate's Sub-Genius Center Tear. I purchased 3x5 cards from Office Depot to learn and practice on, and the quality is impressive. It feels like they're impregnated with either Adamantium or Vibranium - they are crazy hard to tear. Any suggestions for flimsy, easy to tear 3x5 cards? The method is really cool, but these things are so tough that it's hard to even learn and prac...

Make big signs with regular computer printer and flour

As an alternative to hand-drawing your big signs, you can use a regular computer printer and paper with free software to mosaick the pages. Or you can have them printed surprisingly cheaply (\~$7 - $20 for 36"x48") by a chain like Office Depot or UPS. More info about both options below: **PRINTING YOUR OWN BIG SIGNS** Here are instructions I created for printing your own big format p...

GSA Advantage: What's the Deal?

Hello, We are an office products reseller considering applying for a GSA MAS contract, primarily to gain access to GSA Advantage. We've done a fair amount of research, spoken with consultants, and are now in the financial due diligence phase, and I am tasked with building a projection model before committing. In collecting pricing data for the model, I was surprised by what I found. Sampling SKU...

How to make big posters with regular computer printer

As an alternative to hand-drawing your big signs, you can use a regular computer printer and paper with free software to mosaick the pages. Or you can have them printed surprisingly cheaply (\~$10 - $20 for 36"x48") on a single sheet of paper (no mosaiking needed) by a chain like Office Depot or UPS which has large format printers. More info about both options below: **PRINTING YOUR O...

Non-Gel, Non-Fountain Pen recommendation

Hi! I am getting into journaling and I’ve gotten myself a bunch of cute stickers and washi tapes to make it fun. Does anyone have a good non-gel, non-fountain pen recommendation? I’ve been using just a bic round stic, but with the pressure I use and how much I have been writing (I usually fill 2-3 pages in my a5 journal each day), it is just not a comfortable grip. I don’t want to use a g...

2:10 traffic buildup near Costco

Hi, I was leaving Costco, and I was stuck in between the Office Depot - Costco intersection heading out. Around 2:10 today, I noticed the lights between the freeway were MUCH longer than the lights heading out, with the light changing only after five cars. I do not know if this was a temporary glitch or new plan, but has anyone else noticed this? I emailed the City of Council members (all seven) t...

Customers and Shoppers going through withdrawals

Our only Target got flooded overnight on Friday, due to HEAVY rains, as well as many other parts of where I live. Since then, they have been closed, with no estimate of when they will open. In their app, it said they were going to reopen this past Tuesday at 7 am. At 6 am, 36 orders, most were bundles, dropped. I accepted 2 bundles for a total of 5 items. When I arrived at Target at 6:58 am, ...

I am the secondary Trustee for the Trust, and thus have inherited the home. I have already submitted the long form death certificate and the Certificate of Trust to the mortgage company. Starting SoG in a couple of months, any advice on maps and other accessories?

I am already reading Wonton's guide on Google Drive which is great for tips on running the AP, but it doesn't mention much about helpful accessories and aids. We are running a weekly in-person group with a reasonably sized dinner table. Our current DM is using a large (like 37"x34") drafting pad to draw his maps, which is great, but I am not great at drawing, and don't want him to draw...

Tired of scrolling through endless "deals" that aren't? Here's my actual process for finding legit savings on everyday items 🔍 (Saved $250+ this quarter by knowing where and when to look)

Anyone else sick of seeing "MEGA SALE - 80% OFF!" only to click through and realize the "original price" was pulled out of thin air, or the actual discount is like 12%? I've been there too many times, and it drives me nuts. I've been spending a bit of time actually digging into these 'deals' to see what's what, and I wanted to share a recent win that felt genuinely good, not li...
