Need help for new jeans

I’m looking to get some new jeans. I’m mainly thinking Lee, Levi’s, Uniqlo, or Wrangler, with a budget of about €94–134 per pair. I’m planning to buy two pairs. I really like the Levi’s 501 Original Fit Jeans, so something like that would be ideal.

Removing suspender buttons

Want to remove these suspender buttons from my Tcb20s. The buttons are cutting in a bit on my skin and seem to be somewhat warping a belt i enjoy too.. so they should go! Has anyone done this before? I think the jeans are modelled off a Levi's style you could snip either the loops or buttons but I'm not wanting to damage the denim (bolt cutters?) but I'd love to wear these completely without ...

What have been the biggest fabric differences through the years of the 501?

What draws me to vintage levis apart from the history of it all, is the fabric quality and characteristics. I have many pairs of raws from many different brands, and truthfully nothing fades like my vintage levis. My pairs are all from the 80s which by comparison arent as special as for example 60s redlines. But to me vintage levis have the perfect balance of having some slub/texture while keeping...

Why do these fit so poorly on me if they’re supposed to be a “Levi’s 501” cut?

I got these orSlow 105 jeans which are supposed to be a traditional Levi’s 501 cut… ie a fairly universal straight leg cut. But they are super loose in the waist (which I could get taken in) but tight in the thighs and butt. Or maybe they’re sewed incorrectly?
