Banned members - how it works?

When a member gets banned, are their info only shared at that one club or they’re banned across the LA fitness network. We had an incident where a “member” who won a draw came in and stole items from others’ lockers > caused a scene, and was banned. Curious if that means they cannot visit any LA in the city, country, or just at the location where the incident happened?

Why does LA Fitness play music?

Sincere question. Nearly everyone at LA Fitness, including myself, wears headphones as they’re working out. Where’s the need to pump in music if the vast majority of patrons are listening to their own personal, curated soundtrack?

Broadview IL Remodeled Recently

The LA Fitness in Broadview recently remodeled and I am super impressed! They redid the floors, the graphics on the walls, and added a ton of new machines. The space is organized well and looks even bigger than before. They also put in all new lockers. I hope other clubs in the area will soon follow. currently go to the YMCA in Springfield - I am happy there mostly but it is pricey. I love that it has everything I need for lifting, a pool/sauna, and pickleball/tennis courts. I was not allowed in 30 minutes prior to closing?

Has anyone else ever experienced this. I have been going to LA Fitness for quite some time and have never seen the doors locked 30 minutes before actual closing. I’m not sure what the policy is, but I find it quite ridiculous to be honest. I pay for a membership and the gym’s posted hours are 5AM to 8PM on the weekends. Has anyone taken Pilates classes at LA fitness?

I was going to just go to Odins because my goal for the gym is to work on getting back into olympic lifting. However, didn't know till now that LA fitness offers Reformer Pilates! I've been using class pass for a more fiscal way to get some Pilates in. However the price isn't bad compared to a studio. Does anyone have any insight to offer on how their classes are?

I'm trying to get back into a regular swimming routine. I currently use the Brown gym at Nelson but their pool hours are inconsistent.
