Finally Got One

I had decided to clean my closet out recently and while doing so, found my first tablet that i got years ago. It had some battery issues when i stopped using it and got a new one. Didn't take the time to get a photo of it tonight. I needed it out of the house ASAP. Currently it is sitting in a plastic Harbor Freight bucket (I know it should be in a metal bucket with sand, but i have neither of tho...

Gen 1 Casters tires exploded

So My Gen One 72 inch and 54 inch both have the casters with the white wheels on them. The boxes have been sitting for 7 years and all the tires have just disintegrated. Harbor freight does not have any replacement parts for these models listed. Do the Gen 1 boxes have the same caster bolt patterns as the newer gen 2 and 3 models? I think I can order replacements for the Gen 3 versions. Thank you!

My First Truck

Got my first truck today- 2022 F150 2.7. Feels like a long time coming since I’ve been renovating our house the last three years. My 2018 Buick Regal has been holding me back from projects that need larger materials. I wanted a full size bed, but the wife wanted something comfortable and attractive. I can’t blame her- it’s a sharp design and feels luxurious. Anyone have a bed extension rec...

Update on the salvaged tweaker pan. Out of the lye and into the e-tank

Anything in particular to do after the etank to get it ready for seasoning? In case anyone was wondering, even the basic harbor freight charger doesn't work as a power supply however it can be modified to work (I found a sweet YouTube video). We'll see how she looks after this

Non car question but adjacent. Putting a harbor freight motor on an electric golf cart?

I bought an older usedgolf cart this summer for cheap that’s electric and I think the battery is basically shot. I just wanted an idea of how involved and expensive it would be to convert it to a gas engine and put a cheap harbor freight motor in it. I have a lot of spare time this winter and just wondering if this is a bigger project than it’s worth? I’ve heard that golf cart batteries a...

I have a battery powered golf cart and I want to talk to some people about swapping the battery with a gas engine. What sub would be good?

So like I said, I have a battery powered golf cart and it’s got some issues with the battery and out of curiosity I want to look into what’s involved in converting it to a gas engine and throwing a cheap harbor freight engine into it. I feel like r/golfcart isn’t really what I’m looking for and r/engineswap or whatever it is hasn’t been active in 5 years Who can I talk to about this?...

Harbor freight battery charger blown resistor

Brought this battery charger. Couple years ago and was only able to use it once before it quit charging. Powers on and I can hear it click when actuated to charged but it doesn’t charge batteries. I decided to take it apart today and I found this resistor that seems blown. I’m pretty sure this is a symptom and not the culprit. What is usually the culprit of a blown resistor?

Hard Case for Roland V71 Sound Module

Picked up a $60 [Apache 4800 ](https://www.harborfreight.com/4800-weatherproof-protective-case-x-large-black-64250.html)Waterproof Utility Case from Harbor Freight. It fits (barely) my V71 with the mounting post attached. The mounting post and that little DC cable holder on the back are the items that barely fit. This case is solidly built and weighs about 10 lbs. The inside dimensions are (in inc...

New to me Nova 3000 question

Hello, I recently upgraded from a cheap harbor freight lathe to a used Nova DVR 3000 off of marketplace for $300. After cleaning the rust off and studying the machine and manual I’m excited to get to turning. However after mounting my first piece and trying to make a cut, I can’t hardly get any shavings; as if my all my tools including carbide are completely dull. I’m not sure if it’s an...

Hey Amazing people ! I’m new to woodworking and also pretty new to Harbor Freight. 1st Stage Results - 1st Time Ever Tumbling

Using rocks I found and the gems that came with the cheap tumbler kit. I'm brand new to this and already hooked. No idea what I expected, but this is fascinating! Posting this here because there's no one in my irl that has any interest in the subject. I'm happy enough with these results that I will be buying the harbor freight tumbler tomorrow and already planning some day trips to places that I c...

Does anyone have experience making a new blade (reblade) for a folding knife?

I have a counterfeit Spyderco Shaman. Please don't crucify me. Now that my admission is out of the way, on to my question. If I wanted to try my hand at reblading this knife, what are some unexpected pitfalls I should be aware of? I've read quotes from Sal Glesser about how designing, manufacturing, and correctly finishing a compression lock knife is more complicated and takes more care than a st...

Any advice (or prayers)? Body crack with slight bracing separation

Tl;dr: I’m looking for any advice regarding materials/methods for means of repairing this crack with as little further damage as possible. Looking for specific glues/application methods, as well as any advice when it comes to clamping, etc. Long story kept as short as possible, my recently-purchased dream guitar took a direct hit to the front of the body (where the small hole is). It happened ...
