2nd year beekeeper in Wichita, Kansas, USA. I have two hives. After two extensive hive inspections I’m certain one hive has lost its queen. No signs of brood or eggs. My house was built in 1982. I bought this house in 2017. There have been numerous homeowners. Today I attempted to close the drawer in the kitchen and wasn’t able to and figured something was behind it blocking it from closing. I pulled the drawer out to find someone’s old stash of Walmart bag bags and a coupon that expired in 1995. Per Google the Walmart bags were in use from 1998 to 2001.
