What is up with having to pay tariffs to FEDEX to get the “FREE” mini offer..

Received email to pay $38 in tariffs for delivery from FEDEX. Next day it arrives, but having to pay the tariffs for a free product sucks, thanks ELON. Top it off the mini came from Korea, yet on the box says made in the USA. 😒
