Reward ridiculous 75% metric for store, half a penny per dollar spent!

This company has serious issues. Low foot traffic, driving customers aways constantly pushing for a rewards program that offers zero benefit but going through new employees every week cause they are harassed by management to demand customers signup for rewards at insane >75% metric!, but no customer wants a rewards program started decades ago, you'd think they would have signed up by now a...

What ever happened to cap guns?

They were still semi-popular back in the early oughts. I had one or two and plenty of other kids had at least one. But now you don't see them anywhere except the Dollar Tree, and that's just the guns themselves. The caps are often sold elsewhere.

Bynoma or Medicube?

I'm looking for a new skincare brand. I currently use Dollar Tree (I know its rated bad but I haven't had any problems with it) but am looking for more of a routine. For general info, I'm 45, have hyperpigmation due to Melasma and dry but mostly clear skin. I used a compounded prescription for my melasma and an oral pill. Target had a big sale last night of 40% off Bynoma products so I bought som...

Here is the recording of her talking about her budget and using her calculator for groceries

I ended the recording before the last slide, but she talked about going to Dollar Tree to buy lashes. There is no shame in having to calculate your total before checking out to make sure it's in your budget. However, she spent hundreds of dollars on her hair and nails so this feels 100% like a grift setup

Using dollar store shower caps to cover dough

I’ve been using shower caps recently to cover my sourdough during bulk fermentation and cold fermenting in the fridge. It works really well to keep the bowls covered and it’s way more convenient with the stretchy band around the bowl compared to using cling film or plastic wrap! Bonus points: it’s reusable if you just wash them and let them dry afterwards. I used to use clear caps but I go...

Shock! Amplifon buys entire GN Hearing division, including ReSound, Jabra, Danalogic & many others. What will happen to us consumers? To audiologists & retailers carrying the brands? What will happen to the rumored software & firmware that were said to be coming this autumn?

“Amplifon has outlined plans to buy the entire hearing business of GN Store Nord in a deal valued at 2.3 billion euros, or about $2.64 billion. With closure expected by the end of this year, Denmark-based GN will exit the healthcare space and will focus fully on professional and consumer audio-video gear—with its multiple brands spanning earbuds, headphones and speakers, among other products....

Million Dollar Cabinets… Dollar Tree Execution

So let’s clear this up since she keeps saying “that’s how the cabinet company designed it”… No ma’am. Those cabinets were designed for a completely different home — higher ceilings, proper spacing, and a layout that actually fit that space. What you’re doing now? • Shoving them into a low ceiling reno • Cutting them down to fit • Forcing a layout that was never meant...

Barbie Nightmarefest

I'd never been to a convention, so I was really excited when Barbie was gonna host Barbie dream fest in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. That's my home state, so to go to my first convention as a Barbie convention in state was super exciting to me. I bought the pink pass for all 3 days($300), I bought a hotel room for the entire weekend($600). I'm already up to a $1000, but I figured it's worth it as l...

Thanks to everyone who helped me! Found a solution

Turns out dollar tree sells these wood block. I was able to cut them to size with a handsaw and drill them into the sides. There are tiny gaps so I don't see it as a permanent, but It's perfect because i can still take it out if I need to. I'm considering filling in the gaps so that it could just stay there. My instinct is to use spray foam any better ideas or is this valid?

Keep trying…

Got three spots around me that are usually dry holes. Two DG’s and a Dollar Tree. It’s a small town…I usually stop in twice a week on average. Picked up some decent scores today. Keep hitting those dry holes peeps. Sometimes there’s a little moisture at the bottom.
