Review 2026-12 & 13: William Heavenhill 11th & 12 Editions
On a recent visit to Heaven Hill, I treated myself to a couple of fine pours while having lunch at the Five Brothers restaurant after touring the Springs Distillery. They had a great list of pours, but how was I supposed to pass up an opportunity to check a bunch of things off my list? In addition to being a Kentucky only releases and nearly impossible to lay hands on, the 11^(th) Edition is a 13 ...

In the fall/winter 1992 edition of a local newspaper, Lillian Redman, the former owner of the Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari, NM, mentions "some guy driving a Cadillac". Could it have been this guy she was thinking about? The Meta-Scheme 1.0 sugg...
Hell's Kitchen: First Class - Episode 5: What in the Ace of Spades? - Part 3
**Dinner Service (cont.)**
With the Red Team, they started chugging well through the entree portion, but then came Brandi’s table’s order, with Ramsay reminding them not to cook anything else until her table’s done. However, Isadora was spotted cooking up a halibut, which wasn’t on Brandi’s ticket order, and when chewed out by Ramsay, Isadora quickly eighty-sixed it, opting to cook a sa...

**End of Challenge**
As the Red Team celebrated winning the challenge, George cheered in his confessional, stating he knew that Mike would love their dish, declaring that the Southpaws are here to work. But before moving on, Ramsay says there’s still one dish they need to try; Timm’s dish. The black blue-haired chef would walk up with his dish, and Ramsay asks him to describe his dish. Timm e...

Virgin River Season 8 summary prediction:
Hope remembers she has major brain issues and forgets to stop in front of the biggest tree in VR with her 1980 Jeep Cherokee with no air bags. Doc arrives too late to save her because he was in the middle of a pickleball tournament. Doc is actually relieved Hope is dead because he really wanted to bang Muriel this whole time. Preacher ends up building a n...
Case locations then and now. 1 - The Driver's Seat
Doing another playthrough of LA Noire and I decided to compare the case location back then in-game to their modern locations in real life on Google Street View.
(1-2): The Freight Depot
(3-4): The Black's house
(5-6): Cavanaghs' Bar, across the street from Union Station
(7-8): Frank Morgan's apartment
I got to Denny’s 5 minutes early. It took them awhile to get my order ready. I marked on the app that it was taking long because food was still being prepared… Got the food to the customer 1 minute early, then I get the late violation? How is that fair for the driver if it’s the restaurants fault?
I'll be visiting Cape Cod next weekend (Saturday April 25) and would love to get a delicious lobster roll. Many restaurants are still closed due to the off season. Which restaurant (or food truck!) is open next week and do you recommend? Ideally around Yarmouth / Dennis / Harwich region but will be on the road all day travelling around Cape Cod (for work) so any other recommendation is welcome too...
Anyone know why an order for a restaurant and delivery are like 10 miles apart when there is the same franchise restaurant closer to the drop off? Is that DD or the customer picking the restaurant location?? Like a Dennys or even a WAWA
Hayward is Beautiful Part 2 (More Redwoods than Redwood City)
As the title says, Yes Hayward has more Redwoods than Redwood City. Think I'm wrong? Go ahead and surf Google Maps and wow yourself.
Hayward is very middle class. If you don't like middle class, just watch Obama's speech again about Joe the plumber, then you'll magically forget you're not a snobby elitist and classist. I get it, Sizzlers, Olive Garden, Safeway, FoodMaxx, Dairy Queen, Sonic Drive...

Am I wrong for telling my friend that her boyfriend should take her to better restaurants?
Yesterday day my friend and I went on a dinner date to a nice Italian restaurant. I’ve been there many times and it was her first time, she said she usually goes to steakhouses and what not but not places like the Italian restaurant. In her words the restaurant we were eating was “too fancy” because some of the meals on the menu were in Italian. Before the food came I told her the food is so...
