Living in Belgium, I’m lucky that our work site is close to the Netherlands, so we sometimes pass through and even go to Germany (Aldi). I was surprised to see how much stock they had there, even some older items. Then I spotted this little guy! Haven’t seen this in any Aldi here in Belgium, and even in some Aldi stores in Frankfurt.
I won't bore you to death with the details but I'm four months into the job and have come to the conclusion that it is a terrible place to work. Among many things, what strikes me a odd is that, atleast in our store, there is no customer service, there's no service to the public. The only service I provide is to one of the most richest families on the planet. I'm curious to know if my experie...
Can't seem to find any recent information about this...
This was my most recent food shop, typically my shops last about 10 days-2 weeks with a top up shop or two on things like fruit that I get through quicker/have shorter dates! Also things on the table that aren't mine - messy shared student house things 🤣 Added a receipt to show all the stuff thats actually mine 😊
Hey ya'll! Our store is a smaller, less trafficked store compared to neighboring ALDI stores. I got hired mid Nov, mostly closing. I have a decent amount of openings under my belt. I was assigned meat and MDU/cooler. I had maybe a collective two week's worth of opening training before left to my own. At first, ASMs and the SM were lenient with me as I was learning, but now as my 3rd month ...
I’m a complete novice when it comes to sourdough, but I want to try some to see if that helps my digestions. But I’m not sure what I’m looking for. Is this one any good?
So these are €3.79! not cheap at all!! So I’m looking at them and I weigh my food, and I said ok I’m going to check these. So 180g and 1/2 the blueberries were soft and rotten not 200g and nowhere does it say includes packaging! Aldi caught me again!! Yes I am that pissed off of life and buying things that used to fill me and now wouldn’t fill a bird.
Please fix your website: * There are TWO Aldi stores, each within 3 miles of my house. When I click "Change your store," Neither one of my local stores are given as choices. They are both large and have lots of customer traffic. Instead, the website only shows the store over 10 miles further. * To make matters worse: When this more distant store is selected, the prices advertised on ...
I have been applying to Aldi stores for Retail Assistant positions for quite a while but have been unsuccessfull so far. I have an RSA and have supermarket(Woolies) experience. Any suggestions on what I can do to my improve my chances?
What they really mean by this? Are they interested in hiring me ? If yes what’s the next stage?
I can’t remember a time in life when my parents weren’t dragging me (or I wasn’t dragging my kids) to the local Aldi in town every few weeks. Then around the time my kids left for college I went on a meal delivery plan due to chronic illnesses. It took 3 yrs but I’m finally able to cook for myself again. (As long as it doesn’t take too much of my “daily spoons”) So back to Aldi...
I swallowed the sharp glass / plastic and it scratched my throat I can’t eat food because it hurts now . I’ve got a really sore neck from a car accident so I can’t have any one touch my neck and examine it for pieces of plastic yet. Idk what to do, I can only have real soft foods to eat nothing like bread and because of my pain disorder central sensitivity it amplified the pain before and I ...
I wish I can do that for every cart that is on my way while stocking or cleaning the store pushing all the way at the back lol. Seriously? For all the things happening right now? Just want to say kudos to employees that still went to work even the weather is bad. Im hoping that we all (nice employees, not the one sitting in the office) land a job that we wont be thinking to resign anymore or need ...
I used to work there for years and while it wasn’t all rainbows for us by any means as employees 😂 in my area here where we are getting 12 to 18 inches of snow they were the ONLY grocery store to close all of their locations in the surroundings areas so their employees didn’t have to die getting to work today. So I thought that was atleast cool ❤️. They have been through enough the la...
Not pictured...6 tins cat food, and 2 Lidl bakery brownies. I went in for fish and frozen berries...and decided to do it all there for a change. Fortunately veg from both my local branches last well. How much cheaper might this be than my usual order from Sainsbury's or Waitrose...answers on a postcard please 😂
