Latest Discussions and Reviews About Walgreens Pharmacy Stores in USA

No more 24/7 pharmacies in our county. The Walgreen's pharmacy on 9th now closes at 10:00 p.m.

PSA: If you find yourself in a Winnebago county ER late at night, make sure they send you home with enough medication to get you through until morning. Otherwise, the alternative is driving to north Appleton to pick up Rx medication. *For now, the Walgreens STORE on Koeller is store is still open around the clock. The pharmacy is the only thing that closes at 10:00 p.m.

Ocella Birth Control Supply Issues

Has anyone recently had issues getting their occella birth control? I have to get the specific ocella generic because I've tried other ones and had major issues and reactions to them. It:s been getting a little bit more difficult the last two refills I've had to get from CVS. One refill I ended up reverting to Walgreens Pharmacy which is about 30 minutes away from me in order to be able to get it...

Question about Walgreens & current Adderall generic manufacturer

I’m in Palm Beach County, FL and my insurance only works with Walgreens. On the Walgreens website, they say that they carry Teva generic Adderall, but I am not sure that really is the case. A few months ago, Walgreens was only carrying Mallinckrodt generic 30 mg Adderall IR (which I will NEVER take again) and they said they no longer were getting Teva (yet, the website never changed manufactur...

Poughkeepsie Walgreens Pharmacies

Thursday I ordered a refill from the Walgreen's Pharmacy on Rt. 44 Pok. Friday the app said no information was available about my order. Saturday the app showed that the Rt. 44 Pharmacy is temporarily closed but the store is open. I got the same message in the App about the Walgreen's Pharmacy on Rt. 9 Pok. All the other stores seem unaffected. Customer service gave a vague response. Does t...

I’m Medicated and that’s used against me

I have OCD, GAD, and MDD and am medicated for it. The closest Walgreens pharmacy I can fill at is the one that I work at. My coworkers, not my RxM, but everyone else uses that against me and accuses me of being “zonked out” and not helping them and that “I’m taking something that makes me slower and not meet promise times”. And I’m slow/slower because I’m medicated. None of this is t...

Just found out from Walgreens pharmacy, that a family member's pen needles are no longer covered by their Medicare/

Was looking to see if anyone else has recently had the same issue. Note, that this just changed for them in the past week. For Several years now and up until last weekend, the pen needles cost $0.00 for every 30 day supply. Now the pharmacy is asking for $140.00 per 30 day supply, with no change to their insurance. So wanted to see if anyone else has recently had this issue. If it is something to ...

Can I cross into Canada, see a doctor, and fill a prescription same day as a U.S. citizen?

Update: TLDR: My Ongoing Gut-Brain Recovery Journey (Outline) * January 2024: Prescribed opioids after a serious car accident (pain management) * March 2024: Developed GI symptoms * Likely culprits: travel-related food/water exposure and/or sex * Opioids (slowing digestion and suppressing immune function) made me more vulnerable to infection * May 11, 2024: Quit opioids cold turkey out of...

Juanita Walgreens pharmacy gone bad

I've been a happy customer of Juanita Walgreens Pharmacy for well over a decade. But they are becoming ridiculously bad. I had to fill two prescriptions today and it took four trips and a few phone calls, some unanswered. Their excellent notification system about receiving and filling prescriptions seemed to have stopped working. I call, someone picks up and then don't talk to me for 10 minutes un...

Nothing ever changes

The comments I have read here remind me of an incident that happened a few years ago. I was a Walgreens pharmacy manager at the time and the store was being relocated to a new location about a mile away. Being a large chain with thousands of stores, I accepted the assurances of my district manager that moving the pharmacy would be a routine task that the company had done many times. Further, outsi...

Is Walgreens Pharmacy Shorting Its Customers?

I had a new RX filled at Walgreens on 72 & Sorenson. It was a 30 day supply of 90 capsules and it seemed I came up short at the end of the month. Then the next month I noticed the same thing. The third month I decided to count them and sure enough I was not give 90 capsules, I was short two. I called the store manager but never was given an explanation or compensation nor a call back. ...

Is there a T shortage going on right now?

This is probably the 2nd month in a row where my Walgreens pharmacy hasn't been able to refill my T vials on time/when I need it. Is anyone else having this problem too? I hope it's not just something my pharmacy is going through 😭
