Should I use separate sauce for my tortillas when making enchiladas or use the liquid from the taco seasoning?

I usually use enchilada sauce to coat my cooked chicken and corn tortillas but I want to try hamburger meat in Taco Bell seasoning/sauce, should I cook the hamburger meat in the sauce separately or remove the cooked the meat then add the tortillas in the leftover sauce instead of using enchilada sauce?
