What's your go-to grocery store mustard? I don't mean that special small-batch craft mustard that you had imported from Bavaria, I mean out of the selection that you might find on the shelf at any Kroger, what are you reaching for?
What is wrong with this damn thing?!? It’s always Kroger’s! I go there and TRY to use the Benefits Pro app to scan what is and is not eligible and always get screwed- I get to check out and the items are NOT actually eligible and now I’m stuck with a remaining balance and no way to figure out which it did and did not pay for! Not only that but then it won’t let you use your EBT card to pay...
I was doing a simple 50-60 item order from Kroger. Easy store. I was trying to let go of an Easter seasonal item because it wasn't available. As I tried to remove it from my batch it stated that it would be refunded without the customer's request. That would be a negative point on my end. I didn't want that especially since my score recently went down for proper replacements 🫥 I hit up chat sup...
I’m finding hit-or-miss selections at Whole Foods, decreasing selection at Kroger… other package stores have a smattering, but not in a common location. Anyone have suggestions for good selection on N side of Atlanta???
Picked this up on a whim in the deli / select cheese section at Smiths/Kroger in Utah. It actually is surprisingly good for store bought salsa! Most everything in the store is no beuno, but this is super rich, tons of flavor, not overly smokey, deep guajillo flavor, good spice level. https://www.smithsfoodanddrug.com/p/deli-kitchen-guajillo-pepper-medium-salsa/0001111068550
Trying to find some Passover matzoh hopefully on the west side - no luck this weekend at a few of the grocery stores in the Bellevue area. RIP Belle Meade Kroger. Thank you!
Hi! I’m an idiot and I meant to order an orchid for my MIL bc she’s having surgery and I’ve been giving her orchids so I want to leave her a little pretty thing to look at while she recovers. I wanted to get her something special, not your typical Kroger/walmart guys (lol bc I already got her those) so I’m just wondering if y’all happened to see any striking looking orchids for sale in...
I'm putting together a guide to shipping in general and places I've ordered from specifically. I realized Van Leeuwen is one of the bigger ones I hadn't tried shipping. Mainly because we get them in stores here. But the same is true of McConnell's and Jeni's, and I have shipped from both to get special editions, seasonal stuff, hard-to-find flavors. The difference seems to be VL's website has iss...
how did my store even end up with kroger's grapes?? much less having been ALLOWED to sell them? unless im missing something obvious .. one of our managers had no idea either (i am front end, not produce.. have just been selling the kroger grapes) context, the closest kroger is over an hour away from the store
I just bought a GoodCook cheese slicer at Kroger and found that it when it comes to cutting cheese it can't, so to speak, cut the mustard. It's less good at cutting cheese than a popsicle stick would be, turned the wrong way. When I tried to return it for a refund, I was told they can't give me a refund because I had used it. How is one to know a product doesn't work if they haven't used it? I'm s...

I live in Columbus. We’re likely going to have my 10 year old step son for the summer. We usually go to The Ohio State Fair but thinking we may skip & do a mini state line vacation. He’s never been in that area & we’ve never taken him any place that far. We could use the getaway too. I’m trying to get a plan & a budget together. Hotel for a few days, Jungle Jim’...
Hey guys, I think this subreddit is mostly for pet ants and ant farms, but I thought it was a good place to ask how I deal with this. I live in a very small apartment, about 550 sq ft. I am on the 2nd floor (Top floor of this complex, not ground level). I am getting these tiny black ants in the kitchen and bathroom, mostly. I have tried using Raid ant baits, the little square ones that have an o...
wow. that place is awesome. the selection of booze is great. I just spent minutes browsing the aisles on how they're shelved, I thought it went by abv, but it's basically price. navigating the place was easy. beer is to the right wall ,wine and stuff is in the middle back, and some food and sodas and snacks are to the back left didn't someone say something about Vernors ginger ale? they sell it a...
Hi guys, I've actually been looking at this reddit page for a while, when I started about two years ago actually but I just wanted to say that my store 784 is closing but this is possibly the best thing that could have happened. I feel like this store has really chained me down, not in a bad way but overall it made me and several others so comfortable that we didn't want to leave, as a student I d...
My wife and I realized we are overspending a lot on groceries where we don't need to. For this week, we want to make *only* homemade meals with groceries we buy tomorrow for a budget of roughly $60/person for the entire week. But, we don't generally eat anything that is processed or microwaved. We just want to learn to budget better while still eating healthy and nutritious food we make ourselves....
Very good for the price, IMO! I like how the ingredients are pretty reasonable and relatively noninflammatory. If you find $4.50 to be too steep, since they're store brand they somewhat regularly go on sale for \~$3 dollars. They have other bowls in this line, too, at \~300 calories and I really liked both the Cheesy Chipotle and Beef & Barley bowls as dinners, genuinely tasting pretty goo...
Buying 6, five dollar tomatoes in cups seems pricey at Lowe’s, HD, or Kroger … Mayo was oddly pricey on many things, but I could always get a 6 pack of tomatoes for 6 bucks. What garden stores or local nurseries would have a 6 count pack of tomato plants at a fair price?
