Latest Discussions and Reviews About Kroger Stores in USA

I shouldn’t be telling you about these…

Absolutely delicious they remind me of the old Doritos salsa verde circa 1999 that seemed a little spicier than today. $1.99 a bag at my Kroger. They’re always sold out on the shelves of my local store.

Vending machines and Kroger

My step-dad works at a Pick-N-Save with one of the vending machines and I asked him how that's been. He told me that the company is struggling to keep restockers. This is because people have called the stores to ask when the restocker will be in... however people have been following these restockers around and even following them to their homes. Kroger is telling stores to not share any info about...

Did I make a mistake?

I work at a Kroger store in the Southwest (Called Smiths there) and was walking by the managers office. I spotted this on a shelf, and asked if she was going to buy it. She said she had only taken it into the back so that it wouldn't get stolen, so I offered to pick it up after my shift. I guess the presentation case it came with had been lost, so they decided to get rid of it. Almost $90 dollars ...

Terrible Instacart experience - my 2 cents

I don't often post to Reddit, but I just had the most obnoxious experience and couldn't help myself. I've been ordering regularly from Instacart via Kroger's website, and generally things have gone okay. I tip around $20 for a \~$140 delivery most of the time, and being a former longtime delivery driver, I feel that's pretty fair. But I always put "no replacement" on my items because of ...

Spring break roadtrip Vancouver BC to Kansas city and back.

17 day road trip From Vancouver BC to Kansas city and back.. finished. Throughout the trip my son and I visited Walmart's, Safeway's, Targets, Scheels, Fred Miller, Kroger's, dollar tree, dollar general, hobby lobby and Colorado Diecast. 😅 My son is 6yo I gave him a tackle box to fill up on the trip which he did. He likes Let's race and racer verse. I found some real gems including the new Por...

I don't do well without adequate external stimuli, so I listen to video lectures through a bluetooth speaker while washing dishes at home. If I ever get a job again at Dillons (a Kroger subsidiary), will I be allowed to listen to lectures through a bluetooth headphone / earpiece?

What accommodations do your stores have for getting bored to death working in a store without listening to an interesting lecture through a Bluetooth earpiece / headphone paired with my smartphone? Or should I keep being a delivery driver for Doordash? And speaking of delivery driving, do your delivery vans have Bluetooth speakers? I know you deliver flowers, medication and possibly groceries wi...

Kroger Seafood Counters

Does anyone know if any of our local Kroger locations offer the seasoning and steaming of the fresh seafood? I just found out this was a thing but some research has led me to find that a multitude of reasons have shut it down for some stores. I’m just curious if anyone knows offhand, as I’d love to try it!

Shopping at super 1 and kroger is terrible.

Kroger and super 1 are the main stores available in the area on instacart. Super 1 has god awful layouts and no consistency among stores, so finding anything takes ages. Kroger doesn't have a terrible layout, but theres always orders for items this kroger doesnt carry, but the app insists theres plenty in stock. The two of them are always terribly stocked, a good 20% of items im looking for have t...

CSP Online Grocery Category - MA

What are people able to use the “online grocery” designation for in the northeast (Massachusetts/surrounding)? All of the discussion I’ve seen on here talks about Kroger, which we don’t have. Also not anywhere near a Whole Foods. Not interested in using Instacart since they mark up the prices. We do most of our shopping at Market Basket, which obviously has no online methods (iykyk). Oth...

Banned from Requesting Refunds

I work in a Kroger store but do my grocery shopping 100% through Boost delivery. I find it awkward shopping in the same store I work at! 😂 Never had any issues in the past with requesting a refund - I don’t abuse it, occasionally something will be missing, broken, or expired and they instantly refund in the app. Last month they had to refund my entire order (over $200) because it was deliv...

My orchid has been losing tons of flowers recently.

I recently repotted this baby from a really little store pot into a nice orchid specialized pot with orchid soil. I have also been putting it in a window with minimal light (sun is blocked by a house) and have been fertilizing it with miracle grow orchid fertilizer (about 3-4 sprays). The temperature in my house ranges from 60-70 F. I have also been watering it with Kroger distilled water once a w...

Had i fallen for it my till would have been short 300$ He did get banned from the store. Has a...

Anyone else's bakery and Deli being turned upside down?

We had a bunch of corporate people walk through the department maybe last month and now both the bakery and the deli have a ton of changes happening and they're all bad. Was wondering if it's a Kroger wide thing or if our store is just unlucky. For instance, in the bakery department they're not letting people come in at 12 to make the donuts anymore. Their earliest shift is at 4am. And in the del...
