My grandma kept labels for nearly everything, but as Im working to catalogue it all into my stash, I found a few with missing labels. I can tell its acrylic and worsted weight as thats what the majority of her stash consisted of. I put some similar sized yarns next to them to try and help distinguish the long size of the skeins. Aware that this is kind of a moot point because anyone who could afford a nice artifact could easily pull a hobby lobby. But theoretically if there was someone with enough wealth to buy a genuine artifact but enough scruples to not buy it off the black market, is there a legal avenue?

Where are you guys buying your yarn these days?

I used to go to Joann fabrics, I do have a Micheal’s and Craft warehouse but both have a very small and not great yarn selection, along with their fabrics too. I also have a hobby lobby but I’ve heard pretty mixed opinions about it. I’m not opposed to buying online it just sucks not to be able to feel the yarn or see the color in person.
