I'm looking for comfort items for someone in the first stages of recovery. I've looked through this sub for ideas but nothing feels right. I'm thinking of fidget toys, snacks, Lego like stuff or models, shower steamers to relax... stuff to keep him busy and help while he goes through this. I have some ideas... Just could use some more. Wouldn’t check me out without email

So I always go to Five Below to buy incense, and today the cashier (self-checkout all closed) asked for my email. I said ‘no thanks,’ but they insisted they had to have an email to check me out. Sounded like bullshit to me. Again, I said ’no thanks’ and left without buying anything. They lied, right? No way is this actual policy?
