first ever retail job, advice?

hey!, i'm pretty new with this whole thing, I just started at family dollar and my first shift today was a 10 hour split shift (odd) but I didn't really mind. I live in a pretty rural area and it's the closest job my mother can drive me to without getting in trouble with her work (she works at home). “Error”

The guy working the register at family dollar didn’t want to sell it to me but his manager made him. I know that this isn’t worth anything extra so I’m gonna open it.. but he certainly thought so. I tried to get the others that I bought to “fall out” like that but couldn’t do so. So I’m assuming this happened while being packaged rather than during shipping.
