Dollar General doing away with self checkout

Went to the DG on Olive Rd today and the employee ran the self checkout, even punching in my payment choice on the key pad. She said all of the stores are doing away with self checkout and the self checkout registers will soon be replaced with regular employee ran registers. She said it was due to theft. Hopefully Walmart does this too.
