Aldi is a fine store, but the sycophantic adulation customers give it is weird

It's a reasonably priced store, the checkout is fast, they have cool Aldi Finds. But there's a whole, large ecosystem of "fans" of a grocery store that is just weird. Kroger doesn't have it, Wal-mart doesn't, Dollar General doesn't. It's still just a store that wants to make money off of you and in the 90s wasviewed as "for poor people."
