Why is "Wild pacific salmon" so cheap at kroger?

Kroger has the frozen pack, with skin, of wild pacific salmon for $8.99 for 1.25 lbs. This is cheaper than any other salmon, frozen or not, that they sell, even the farmed ones, and any other store I've been to, including bulk stores like Costco. Does anyone know why it's so cheap there? Is there something inferior about "pacific" salmon.

About to pull the trigger, Bosch 800 or Miele 7000 series (or something more equivalent), and what model #? Also, how do I find a good local store near me that's better than costco/etc?

If so, which model # should I get? I heard Bosch 800 has like 3 or 4 different iterations.. not sure about Miele 7000 series though. How big the hole is for the washer : Height: 33" - 33.5" Width 24" Not sure how far back though, I'd have to pull the entire dishwasher out from the back and... no way am I gunna be able to do that.

I thought most expiring food was tossed in the land fill but all these groceries donate their expiring/distressed food to food for lane county. All the big names are here.
