before getting a warehouse membership i made a list of everything i'd actually buy and compared unit prices at both clubs plus amazon and walmart. i used popgot which covers all of them and returns cost per unit so you can see the actual gaps. for my specific purchases: costco won on paper towels, coffee, and olive oil. sam's club won on a few snack items and some packaged foods. they were compara...
three people told me three different stores were cheapest for formula. all three were confident. this is the kind of disagreement that only gets resolved by checking. ran the comparison on our specific formula through popgot. it calculates cost per oz across amazon, walmart, target, costco, and sam's club. the answer for our brand and can size: amazon subscribe and save was cheaper per oz than ta...
the advice to buy in bulk to save money has a problem when money is tight: you need the cash for the upfront cost of the bigger pack before you realize the savings. that's a real constraint and most bulk-buying advice ignores it. what does work regardless of budget size: knowing the cheapest per-unit option within whatever pack size you can actually afford right now. a $6 bottle of dish soap might...

I ate a lot of roast chicken as a kid, not all of it great, often the breast was dry, the thigh not fully cooked. My mom definitely leaned towards the lowest effort meal preparations and that's fine. Three kids even as a SAHM is a lot to juggle. Then i went off to college, lived by myself and learned to cook. And i started making roast chicken. Not out of nostalgia really, but economics. Whole ch...
It seems like it might be a in-store only kind of offer. I want to test them before I determine if it is something I actually need and Costco's 90 day returns is very generous.

Yes, yes, it was very much worth it. I started with a 256 GB card at launch (of the Switch 2) and eventually split my game library between the onboard storage and the MicroSD card. By Thanksgiving, I was running out of space and had to choose which digital games to install. Over the holidays, I got a 512 GB card directly from SanDisk for $100 (it now sells for $180), which let me store my entire ...
I've read that some Costcos have outdoor gardening centers and I need to find one!!!! The Costco website seems that it had a page that listed locations but it's not longer active. Does anyone know where to find a list of outdoor Costco gardening center? Or... if your store has one, please shout it out because I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to know.
PSA: These new Ole Mexican Foods 8" Xtreme Wellness Tortillas are delicious! It's the only tortilla I've seen that's 1 - lower in carbs and 2 - uses avocado oil instead of a lower quality oil. Other low carb tortillas when rolled are more likely to separate into pieces. Ole tortillas are more... stretchy. Preps: I add olive oil to 1 side of the tortilla (cos I'm trying to have 2 table...
I recently joined Costco for the first time so I’m not very familiar with the store or their site. I’m creating a list of items that are cheaper at Costco and what’s cheaper at Freshco or No Frills (I’m in Ontario). I can’t find basic items on the Costco website like frozen blueberries. Do they not carry something like frozen fruit?

You say something like "fifty at Costco, twenty at Chick-fil-A yesterday, fifteen at Target last Friday," and the app parses all three transactions, categorises them, and tags the dates and account. About 5 seconds total. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device, so no audio leaves your phone (the audio file gets deleted immediately after transcription). **What I'm looking for fe...
Quite a few people have been posting about griddles lately, so thought I'd give a heads up that Costco have it on offer for £360, an absolute bargain at this price. You can usually get it a bit cheaper at the end of summer from them when managers specials can take it down to £300, but who wants to wait that long for the sake of £60! The online price is £450, so it definitely varies!

I have a gift card for Ross and am wondering if there is a better Ross in town. I know they vary from store to store and day to day, but I’d love to find a decent one for houseware and maybe men’s stuff. Does anyone have a cool Ross recommendation? I’ve been to the one next to Costco and the NE location. Hoping there’s a better one. TIA.
1 million rials costs $1.10 Your toilet paper equivalent cost drops to: ~$2.20 per roll And if hyperinflation continues? 1 million rials could cost $0.50 Now you're effectively buying toilet paper at: $1 per roll or less. You’ve essentially created a reverse inflation hedge where your bathroom supplies get cheaper every year. The true asymmetric payoff This is where the real DD comes i...
**TLDR:** Sleep Number’s "Planned Obsolescence" in action. My 2016 iLE parts are no longer made, and the "warranty solution" is a $600 non-refundable gamble on a redesigned cover that support can't even confirm will work with my current setup. I'm moving on from the brand. I am now at the end of having my bed for 10 years and entering year 11. I bought my bed in February 20...
