Fun way to save time on a busy day

On a ultra busy day at costco when the line up goes to the back of the store, I will immediately get in line with a cart. My wife goes down the isles with a basket and frequently stops at our cart and places the items in the cart. By the time I get to the till ( 20-25minutes of being in line ), my wife has completed all of the shopping. Your welcome

I work for the Manchester uk store and a few months we get the pre scan I assume it was the same for most UK stores. Do you think it works or do you think it’s a waste of time.
