Hello Winnipeg! Me and my partner have recently just moved in together, and on top of our rent and other costs, we’re looking to see if Costco would cost us less than our regular grocery stores… such as Safeway, Walmart and No frills. I’d love to know quality, quantity, and the general opinion on the one in Winnipeg, and if you guys think it’s worth it!

I’ll probably get downvoted for this but I’m sick of it. I’ve seen so many posts on here crying around about large item deliveries. Why? It’s really not that bad carrying 5 packs of Costco waters up a flight of stairs to a second level apartment or pushing two carts around a store… You should probably just Dash or do some other gig if you’re going to let a Heavy Pay order ruin your ...
I've been thinking about this for a while now, so I figured I would put the question to the greatest minds we have! I use my credit cards for all of my transactions and have for decades now. I love the cash back. However, I have noticed that the amounts are much less than they used to be. Because of this, I have, over the years, added new cards. Well, I’m to the point where I’m tired of hav...

I see that the Costco American site has a 600 bottle of Kirkland brand Benadryl for like $.03 a pill ($10). They're not available online here, but are they in stores?
Here’s what’s moving right now across multiple retailers. **Best Buy** will continue restocking throughout the week. Has anyone been getting no freaking batches?! It’s so frustrating. And I keep getting the notification that I got 5 star reviews in a row but my rating fell to standard :(
No, for real, my local Safeway posted a sign about holding onto receipts and requiring checking them. Costco style. We all know Walmart Greeters can’t legally require to check our receipts because we didn’t agree to terms like Costco— but now that it’s spreading to other businesses too. How do the higher ups justify the loss prevention-but-not-loss prevention ‘receipt security...
I'm wondering if anyone has come across the Gardena gloves in a western Canadian costco? I bought a pack of them probably 5 or 6 years ago and finally have gone through them all. Really struggling to pay $10/ pair at the local hardware store. Hoping they still bring them in?
I wash it between refills of rice. store a little scoop inside as well. seals nicely and very big. I like reusing plastic containers when I can.

Hello hello I currently have the AMEX Cobalt card, it's amazing and in less than a year I have gotten over 100k points, which I plan to transfer to Aeroplan in the near future. Unfortunately AMEX isn't used at some of our primary grocery stores (RCS) and gas stations (I use the gas station on a reserve near a Costco, which competes with Costco prices always) I currently only have a low inte...
We're doing a Royal Caribbean Southbound Alaska Cruise from Seward Alaska to Vancouver near the end of June. We're celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and we're super excited. It looks to be pretty busy in Vancouver at that time due to the World Cup. It'll be my husband and I with our two kids 12F and 16M. Currently considering what to do post cruise and when to head to the airport. Our f...
Hi there Tacoma! I am opening a new food business (primarily selling boiled peanuts) and starting out at local farmer's markets soon. I'm wondering if there are any suggestions for how to find the supplies I need for my event tent set up at lower cost than going to Costco or other major stores. I do not use facebook and I don't want to use it at all (I know many of you will suggest their marketpla...

They have it at Costco, in Costco-sized bottles. I’d like a normal sized bottle so I can try it. I’ve been looking at both the regular grocery stores and the Asian markets around the city, and have come up empty handed. I’m sure I’ve seen it somewhere, but for the life of me, I don’t remember where.
Missing Japan. got home 2 months ago and a lot of restaurants out here do not compare. Took a shot at making a quick ramen at home using bowls that I bought in Kyoto. Miso chicken broth made with Costco rotisserie chicken. Seasoned eggs (almost perfect!) and store bought noodles. Will try to make chicken chashu next time instead of using rotisserie. Was pretty tasty!
