Question about 24month protection plan

I bought my brother a pc July 7th 2023. I have total tech membership through Best Buy. I took my brothers pc today to geek squad and then when I came in they mentioned a part of the motherboard is fried. Would I be able to get a new pc or have them replace the part for it since it’s under a 24month protection plan?

In today's haul, should I open them or keep them sealed?

Michigan Best Buy

I'm looking to try and get one through a Best Buy in Michigan bundle or regular. Does anyone know when they get their trucks? It seems like it is impossible to talk to anyone in the store anymore over the phone it's all through a call center. I live about an hour away from the nearest store and already made the disappointing drive down state once.

Anyone have details on where to get switch 2?

GameStops, targets, Best Buy's, Walmarts, anywhere in stock, or does anyone know when restocks are happening?

I went to a used dvd store and picked up this Family Guy season 4 box set for 3$. Apparently this particular one was a Best Buy exclusive with a note from Seth himself!

I could only find one listing of it on eBay, in which it went for almost 200$! Freakin’ sweet!

Same equipment installed in new car, sounds nowhere near the same.

Windows taskbar screen burn?

I thought it was maybe from a power surge, but it appears screen burn is not possible from that. I do rarely use full screen, so the windows bar is always showing for hours. However this has never happened to me on past laptops. I've had this ASUS VG248QG monitor for almost 2 years now, bought in September 2023. Is it worth seeing if it's under warranty by ASUS or Best Buy?
