[TOMT] Help figuring out a bbq sauce from mid to late 80s at Aldi stores
Bottle looked like a syrup bottle. (It had a thin long neck and a big bottom). It was plastic. It possibly had a handle.
The consistency of the sauce was a regular bbq colored sauce, but thin and clear.
It had a push cap (you pull it - it opens, you push it, it closes). Like the ones on water/juice bottles.
It possibly said “sweet honey”.
This sauce was EXCLUSIVE to Aldi’s only.

Not much to see in the photos, but someone apparently drove a car into the bike rack at Aldi, and it sat broken for most of a year, with people locking bikes up to the trolley bays and signposts, anywhere they could.
I took a photo and filled in the online customer service form, and it was fixed a few weeks later! (might be a coincidence)

I have now checked my three local (Florida) Aldi stores for the BELGIAN baking chunks and they no longer carry them. I asked employees at every store and was told they now only carry the "Specially Selected" baking chunks. They have them in semi sweet and dark. Very cute set. The magnetic tiles are a bit wonky and don't connect or line up in the way they should for some pieces. The pieces also seem to more flimsy? I would be hesitant to let a toddler play with them by themselves for fear of them breaking them open.
