Milk prices up over a dollar?

A couple months ago milk was only like $3.17 or something like that at Sam's club for the members mark brand. Now it's $4.21 a gallon. Anyone else notice the drastic change? Walmart has milk for $3.12 a gallon. They are sister companies, why is the generic milk over 30% more expensive at the big box warehouse in comparison to a normal grocery store?
