Sam's club scan-and-go at fuel pump

Does anyone know why this shows up on my account but it's declined anyway at Sam's club fuel pump? \*\*\*Scan and go works inside Sam's club perfectly\*\*\* but not at the pump. In 3 years, I have had it work ONCE. Only one time in 3 years of trying to scan-and-go at the pump has it worked. Does it work for anyone else? Just me? And they STILL lock up $75 on my account each time I try!

Best no fee or very low fee cards?

I mainly use my costco visa but don't even go to costco that often (usually Sam's club). So it mainly benefits me using it with food/travel (3%).
