Plants are dying

Hello, I’ve had this Aquarium for two weeks. I cycled it with bacteria and have a heater and the filter sponge and everything but I don’t know why, but I feel like the plants are dying. They are turning brown. Is it normal that they’re turning brown? It’s a part of the process or they are just dying. I don’t know if the gravel is good the aqua pet shop put them for me.
