does anyone have advice on how to make lps hats like this?

i want to make these for my lps, and based on just looking at these pictures i assume its a magic circle, single crochet, maybe increasing in every stitch for the first few rounds? and then after that im not sure. definitely increasing on top while the bottom is straight. i also dont know how to make the ear holes.. if anyone has advice that would be great!!

Sorry for potato quality photos, I'm using PhotoBooth. My mum just bought this tank and I have no clue what this airline tubing is supposed to be for.
