why is this carrot dangerous?

I haven’t got any of these but I’ve seen them a lot in my local pet shop. I saw someone on facebook saying they’re dangerous but they didn’t elaborate on why and I don’t use facebook (got there from a google search about aspen shavings) so even if I ask I’ll never remember to go back and see if they responded lol.

Small/Local exotic pet shops near Ashburn?

Hi all! Does anyone know of locally owned pet shops or small business pet shops near the Ashburn/Leesburg/Sterling area? I’m specifically looking for places that sell feeder insects at the moment, including any reptile supply shops. Can anyone tell what kind of hay this is by looking at it?

What is this?

There’s this little spec on my Anubis leaf and it’s moving. My best guess is that it is a snail baby, but the weird thing is that I only have one mystery snail in my tank so unless it came with eggs from the pet shop then I have no clue what that is.
