Caffe Panna Malted Black & White (Spring Forward collection)

**Caffe Panna Review No. 6:** Essentials for any spring dessert collection: A gourmet, pecan-bejeweled Carrot Cake and a nostalgic Lemon Meringue Pie with a cloud of gorgeous fluff — both worthy of an Easter table. A refreshing vanilla-orange Creamsicle-inspired combo that signals warmer days ahead. A basic chocolate and vanilla swirl? That last one… not so much. Spring ice cream collection...

I got my first 100 downloads. At 50, I stopped building and asked users what they thought. They said the app was ugly. Here's what happened next.

I'm a solo founder building a household management app for couples and families called Miiro. My wife and I kept losing track of things. Groceries, calendar stuff, meal ideas, who's doing what. Not because we're bad at it, but because everything lived in a different app. Notes in one place, calendar in another, grocery list somewhere else, recipes bookmarked in a browser tab from 2023. So I built...

Wine discount no longer offered?

Kroger has always had a % discount for 6+ bottles of wine/spirits. Can’t recall if it’s 10% or 15% but it frequently goes to (I think) 20% once every 3 months or so. Anyways, starting with this weeks ad, this is no longer advertised and all of the tags in store are updated to remove the bulk discount as well. Any intel?

Expiration Date Weirdness

Is anyone else noticing that expiration dates seem to be shorter? After a short break I got back to my prepping and purchased a bunch of canned items. When I was putting stuff up and trying to rotate my stock I realized that things I *just* purchased are expiring sooner than things I purchased 6 months ago. That makes no sense to me. So now instead of automatically rotating things, I'm having to ...

Does anyone know what stores around Portland doesn’t accept Apple Pay debit?

I’m looking to do Instacart for a side hustle, and I work at Fred Meyer/Kroger in Portland and I know for a fact that we stopped accepting Apple Pay for payments for instacart. Are there any other stores that don’t accept Apple Pay anymore around Portland and surrounding cities?

New shirts don't understand Maths?

So here I am only part time so I work 4 days a week. The store only gave me 2 shirts 🤔 well.. I do laundry once a week and I'm not about to waste more money on doing it twice in one week. So if my math is correct I'll be needing 4 shirts or I'm just going to wear none Kroger shirts for 2 of the 4 days I work in the week. 🤷‍♀️ I also should have zero obligations to buy said shirts when ...

Crispiest zero sugar cola (can)

Hi all! I was just curious if any of you have an opinion on what the crispiest zero sugar cola in a can is? I know I like zero sugar coke over pepsi, it tastes less sweet and less syrupy. Has anyone compared store brand zero sugar cola like from Walmart, kroger, safeway etc?

Employee Appreciation

So our store had a little party today for the associates which Kroger paid for, not our managers. And my manager just came up to me and said "I'm glad, I think today's one of the days where we're lower staffed", it's not like they're feeding us anything grand. They made us some nasty breakfast, which of course all management and management's friends made their plates first so they took e...

Do you hate when store employees tell you how to do things?

I shopped at a specific Kroger location that I rarely go to. I go there from time to time with personal shopping if a delivery is nearby, but rarely IC. But the other locations are where I shop frequently. So I take a quick 14 item order and go to the self checkout (SC). While I was there, the SC employee came up to me and was like, "There's a new system and they require us to check the cart...

The Kroger Stores by me are the Worst Grocery stores I could ever imagine!

It's difficult to believe how bad they are: \* Mostly ready to go bad Produce \* Only one register open during the Busiest times \* No Customer service or anyone to ask a Question. \* Rude and unhelpful employees It's tough to believe a grocery could suck so bad. BTW this is in metro Nashville, I wish we had some other grocery's besides Kroger and Publix. I usually pay more top shop at publ...
