Working as a SnowFox Franchisee

Hello I would like to get on here and talk about my experience as a SnowFox Franchisee. SnowFox is a sushi company that can be found in grocery stores such as your local Krogers. I have been owner and chef for about 3 years now and my experience has been HORRIBLE. I work up to 12-16 hours a day, 7 times a week, 364 days, with only Christmas off. There is no work and life balance at all. Mainly due...

Has anyone else ever gotten another stores product?

Out of the 9 years I’ve worked at my Kroger this has only ever happened twice, and both were within the last week. A whole case of another stores product I can understand being unintentionally sent but just one Rib out of a whole box of Kroger ribs? Bizarre.

Kroger App

Someone please tell me why Kroger can't come up with an APP that works 100% of the time and is user friendly???? I have numerous apps on my phone from other stores - Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, shall I continue? And they all work every time, no freezing, no hunting for where to get coupons, or scanning "digital" coupons - (that is just stupid Kroger) - I mean come on, either it...

What are y’all drawing on your cups

Our store is now trying to enforce us drawing or writing messages on all cups we hand out. I heard its a starbucks policy My starbucks is very slow, theres often 30 minutes between customers (it’s a starbucks inside a kroger store) so i have lots of time to draw whatever I want to draw some funny things on it. What stuff are yall doing for your cups?

Plastic bags

I'm going to be doing a couple of community service projects this summer with some kids, teaching them to crochet. As part of this project, we will need a lot of (preferably clean) plastic carry bags (e.g., from Kroger, Walmart, Meijer, or other stores). I will use these to teach the kids how to spin yarn (kind of) and use the resulting "plarn" to make sleeping mats for the unhoused in o...

Kroger or Publix Customer? You Could Be Getting Overcharged at Self-Checkout

A neighbor in Brookwood noticed Kroger’s self-checkout shows the *most expensive produce first*—you have to scroll to find what you’re actually buying. Certain Publix locations have an entirely different scheme going on, so be wary. As the economy tightens, more stores may try this. Watch those screens and shop smart! Card Recommendation - Robinhood Gold FOMO?

I got the invite to the RH Gold a few weeks ago, without ever having joined the waitlist. I looked into it and decided against it at the time. But now the clock is ticking and I am wondering if it's worth using one of my 5/24 slots to get a 3% cash back card for larger purchases that don't fall under my normal 2-4x spend categories. I've officially broken up with my favorite Ben and Jerry's flavor in favor of a generic brand I like better.

The last few months I've been grocery shopping I've bought Private Selection Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream from Kroger. Up until that point Ben and Jerry's strawberry cheesecake was the best. Tonight I had the Ben and Jerry's flavor for old times sake, it was good but it just didn't taste as good anymore. Meanwhile the Private Selection version has that perfect ratio of strawberries, cream chees...

Diet Rite discontinued & RC Zero is aspartame+caffeinated garbage: Keurig Dr. Pepper Company Rant

Diet Rite is delicious and absolute fire, but they just randomly ceased production at the end of last year despite it always being sold out quickly at every place in town and the surrounding ones after being restocked. I asked stores what days the supplier came to different stores and had a list. I would buy cans or 2L - whatever I could... yeah, that's how good it is. At my peak years ago I had ...

the cashier at Kroger was so rude

TL;DR cashier was rude and triggered anxiety. Fighting agoraphobia and being in public. I’m already extremely agoraphobic and have a really anxious time in social situations. My therapist recommended exposure therapy. I’ve been on a leave of absence from my regular job due to severe burn out and depression so I started instacart to still make some money for bills while I’m out of consiste...

Should I Even Bother Right Now?

So as the title says, should I even bother going through the process of interviews for jobs. So currently, I really need another job especially for the summer since I am out for classes. Now, I have been applying for jobs - literally like Walmart, Kroger, Starbucks, etc. since April 1st. All have not responded at all which is hell because when I applied they all had multiple spots open D: Anywa...

Switch 2 Pre-Orders Still Available Fred-Meyer

Just was grocery shopping at my local Fred Meyer (aka Kroger) in Portland OR and was able to walk up and buy a $200 gift card to secure my spot to pre-order and purchase the Switch 2 in store on the day of release. I was only number 6 on the list. If you are still out there looking to secure one I for sure recommend checking out your kroger affiliated store if they have an electronic section

AITAH for thinking my stepmom is selfish for taking the entire thing of cheese with her to work?

I do want to clarify that it's not really a big deal and in like at most an hour, I'm not actually going to be upset anymore. But it did just happen so it's annoying as fucking hell rn. So, I'm 18 and I live with my family still. This includes my dad, stepmother, and my baby sister. Well, my dad made fettuccine alfredo last night. But we have left over spaghetti noodles as well. My stepmother...

Milton Crackers Kroger App

If you have Kroger near you, check to see if you have this digital coupon to clip for Milton Gluten Free Crackers. Good luck getting it in stores. My local Sprouts doesn’t carry it and I’m pretty sure my local Kroger doesn’t either. You might be luckier.
