What causes the variance in Husky coat lengths?

So, my Husky has long fur but is not a woolly Husky. A lot of the Huskies I see have short fur with Husky colorations. But if they didn't have the color pattern I would guess GSD or another breed. They look like coyotes for the most part but come back as DNA tested Huskies. It's mean but I call them Dollar Tree Huskies lol. Why? Dog tax included from when I met him at the shelter.

I'm stuck in a hotel for a month for work and was getting tired of all of my makeup, skincare, etc. being strewn about in my suitcase so I picked up some adorable organizers and a couple things from dollar tree. The fan is to dry my setting spray quicker and works lovely for that. The eye masks burned a bit but that passed and they definitely hydrated my perpetually dry undereyes!
