My brother keeps treating my car terribly

My mom gave me her car as a gift, she said I (f23) can have it after she dies. It's been a few months since she died and the car is now mine. The car itself was only a thousand dollars, it's old, and it looks very shabby. Regardless, I love that car. My aunt gave it to my mom so that I can take her to her appointments since she could no longer drive. It's been a few months and I stupidly let my ...

PET 1 reusable water bottles from Dollar Tree- but PET 1 shouldn't be reused?

I've been searching for a water bottle option that is super easy to clean with a scrub brush. Many come with little gaskets- in the small pop up lid, in the rim of the lid, etc. and I feel like I have to remove them all every time I wash because I'm worried soap will get stuck in/around them (not to mention bacteria). (and some are obnoxious to remove/need like a fork to dislodge them) I found t...

New Dollar Tree 100 brick packs- $1.75. This helps offset the higher price, finally.

We know that last year the price of brick packs, figs and sets at the Dollar Tree went up from $1.25 to $1.75. On my trip yesterday, I spied something new- 100 packs! Previously, what we had was the former $1.25 packs of 72 with the new price @ $1.75. With the increase in bricks, this mitigates the cost increase, dropping average cost-per-brick to 1.75 cents per. And that's a decent price. The n...

Do you guys think net cost or dollar tree would be a better part time job?

I’m a college student currently working at dollar tree and got a call from Net cost for an interview. So far dollar tree is well very interesting 😅 but I don’t see any experience with people working at net cost as a cashier. Anyone got anything they want to share?

A Love Letter to the Chaos (From an Associate Who Survived Saturday Night Shift)

First off, yes, I’m still employed. And no, I will not be sharing my store number, aisle layout, or the identity of the customer who tried to pay in loose glitter. Now that we’ve established that can we talk about the universal *Dollar Tree Experience™* for a minute? You haven’t truly known teamwork until: * The balloon machine is acting possessed. * The line is wrapping into seasonal. ...

Idea for using leftover drills

As the title says, an idea for using leftover drills! I had this thought the other day of how unfinished wooden craft items would be great canvases for drills leftover from kits. This one is a small light up one from the Dollar Tree. I made a small sketch to get an idea of what colors I'd use though I tweaked it here and there depending on how much of the colors I had and vibes lol. I used double...

Bird safe dog beds or similar for back of couch?

We picked up a cheap dog bed for our Quaker parrot (made for a tiny dog like a chihuahua) at dollar tree for \~$5 about 6 months ago, and it’s become her favorite spot to hang. I put it on the couch every day with a few of her toys and whenever anyone is sitting on the couch she flies over and hangs out on it. Unfortunately, it is long past time to replace this disgusting thing despite cleaning ...

Huge favor to ask… reviews of brand new products?

Can ya help a girl out? I am laid up for several weeks from a major foot surgery and cannot go to Dollar Tree and it’s killing me. My mom has agreed to go there and FaceTime me the beauty shelves. But… I really don’t want to buy anything without knowing how it performs first. I know the beautiful lip balms in the gorgeous containers are gritty and I also saw a video of those blushlighters an...

Worn down by dads war, I feel worn down :(

I'm sorry, I need to vent some more. As I posted previously, my father has been on a rampage for the past few days. to quickly summarize, I woke up a few days ago to 10 missed calls from my grandfather (paternal). I was confused as they never call me so I figured it was an emergency as they'd been calling me for hours. (I sleep during the day due to my sleep schedule being severely off, im trying...

I anonymously send my sister Spanish copies of "Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle" on Blu Ray once every few months

It all started back in 2023 when a local dollar tree got some old box's of blu rays that were collecting dust in the back of a local Walmart Inside the box were a bunch of new in box movies, Lego Movie 2, Deadpool 1 and 2, and more specifically a copy of Jumanji on Blu Ray, this particular blu ray was particularly in Spanish, it was the only language on there, so I bought a copy as a joke and ne...

Where do I start for my hair?
