Triban RC100 ownership review, my first and last bike from decathlon.

This will be a detailed review and the issue I faced and how decathlon handled it. I bought RC100 last November during Black Friday sale, it is my first bike after 8yrs, overall rode it for 4 months(400kms approx) and for 1 month it was in decathlon store. I'll go in "M check" for my technical review: 1. Tires :- The RC100 comes with 700x28c tires, it's a dual purpose tire, it has good ...

What is the advantage of buying experience cycles

I haven't driven a cycle that cost more than 15k .I have tried Triban bike around 30k inside the decathlon store but it doesn't justify the price . Convince me to buy one ..I need confirmation bias. I mostly just use my cycle to buy groceries during the weekend.

Triban RC500. For and against buying it.

Pls tell me the for and against buying the RC500. I had been gnawing my brain on what good Roadbike to buy which wouldn't break my bank. I felt a 9 speed Sora would be best for my biking goals and expectations. I had visited a decathlon store to have a look at the RC500 but only a small was available and online too was completely out of stock except for small size for the good part of last year...

Simond dry bags

I’m based in the US but am in Europe now and have been loving the Decathlon stores I first learned about on here. I haven’t gotten a dry bag yet and was thinking of picking one up in Decathlon but it’s Simond brand and I haven’t been able to find much about its quality. Do any of you guys have experience with this one, and if so, would you recommend it? I’m taking my last Ryanair flight ...

Bicycle recommandation for 60M

My FIL (60) wants to take up cycling after retirement as a means to stay fit and pass the time. What would be a good recommendation for him? I'm considering the Tata Stryder or taking him into a Decathlon store. Please suggest something within a reasonable budget of around 30k.

Any difference with these Artengo TR960s from Thailand & Canada?

Hey guys, I was in the market for a new racket and frequently hit up Decathlon for inexpensive goodies. My wife took my current racket - Wilson Burn 18x16 (was a random demo model I picked up in Canada but have been playing with it for a while now). Just a casual player, mostly playing with my wife for fun and exercise, took a couple lessons here and there to learn proper techniques, but have be...

Seals Stadium Home Plate

Thinking about the caller Elaine on KNBR and her story of seeing games at Seals Stadium reminded me that a few years ago my husband and I visited the Seals Stadium home plate inside a Decathlon store. I looked on google maps just now and see that the store is gone and the space is empty. Can anyone confirm this? Also, when we went inside the store there was a sweet little ‘monument’ to home pl...

Budget Half-marathon training shoes

Edit: For anyone searching this up and wondering, I tried wearing Novablast 5 in the store and compared them to the Kiprun KS 900.2 (Decathlon brand). I spent at least an hour switching between them and running, jumping and strafing around. In the end, I didn't like that the Novablast 5 feel a bit weird when heel striking when jogging. It felt as if they have foam in the forefoot and the heel and ...

First Road Bike help

Hi everyone, So, I have been riding a cheap Rockrider MTB and I pretend to buy a road bike. I am a casual cyclist (at least for now) and I mainly ride at weekends (40-60 km). Sometimes, I will do some long routes (100-150 km). I have been considering the following models: \- Canyon Endurace 6 - 1148€ (with shipping included) - (https://www.canyon.com/en-pt/road-bikes/endurance-bikes/e...

Anyone using the Kiprun KD900X.2?

Hey guys, Is there anyone out there using the Kiprun KD900X.2? They are a lightweight tempo trainer from Decathlon that feature an A-TPU midsole that has a full length carbon plate. I've watched a Youtube video from Alex Filitti where he has shown high praise for them but I can't find much more info online about these. I've visited a Decathlon store today and wore them around it it seemed th...

Uk post I am going be walking allot more and doing moderate walks dr orders. What brands of shoes.

I’ve often hated desert boots because they felt like a ten-ton weight on my feet. I’m a 47-year-old male, 5’7” and 116 kg. My question is: is there more of a trainer-style shoe that still provides good enough grip? We have Decathlon stores here, and I can always order online. When I used to do running I liked the fit of Assics if that gives u a since of shoe fit.

Advice needed

I've been trying to teach a friend how to cycle for a couple of months now and it hasn't been successful at all. She's been stuck at the coasting around (or trying to!) stage and is showing no signs of improving. I've got to thinking that either perhaps she's just one of those people who “just cannot balance” (no known medical issues impeding her as far as we know), or she simply can't get o...

No decathlon in bhopal

After checking online, I was surprised to discover that there is no Decathlon store in Bhopal. This worries me because I own several Decathlon products, including two bicycles, and I’ll be moving to Bhopal soon. Since these items require regular maintenance, I’m concerned about how I’ll manage without a nearby Decathlon outlet.
