Thoughts on Triban RC120 [Disc Brakes, Carbon Fork, 2x8 Speed]. Is it worth it?
I've been considering getting a Triban RC120, but I noticed it has a 3.6-star rating on the Decathlon store page, with quite a few 1-star reviews.
If you own or have tried the Triban RC120, what has your experience been like? How are the brakes and gears?

Ive been thinking of purchasing this model from secondhand store however when I check the original Decathlon store I see it is the worst rated bike they sell with 4.15/5 from 638 ratings. Is it a bad idea to purchase it? Will i need to gaslight myself it is actually good when I see the warning signs? Original price was around 800€ and Ive been offered this model for 360€. What do you guys thin...
Why are quechua shoes not available in Decathlon stores?
I have been looking for Quechua trekking shoes in Decathlon since Dec 2024. I have observed that many sizes were not available. Now in May 2025, MH500 and few other models have been discontinued and no other alternatives are present. Does anyone have any idea why is there an issue for non-availability of Quechua trekking shoes?
I have a problem in life where I have difficulty going out due to me being either introvert or something else, I might not even go out for 2-3 months and even then only to just go cut my hair, so I decided to get into bikes as it seems fun and something that might change my life completely.
So I started looking at which single speed bikes to buy and came across Elops 500 ( 270€ ) it looks simp...
Hello, I'm planning to buy resistance bands to allow me to add heavy weights or additional heavy resistance to my squats and deadlifts at home. I only do bodyweight exercises and one thing that could use improvement in my training regimen is added resistance to my squats and deadlifts. This could also be added weight to my pullups and other exercises of course.
Anyone who's knowledgeable about bu...

Can a voucher in Shopee be reactivated for the second time?
Last Apr 2, I spent part of a Shopee Mall voucher on an item from Decathlon store. However, it got cancelled because "Pickup attempt was unsuccessful" so I had the voucher reactivated, valid until May 7.
Since then, I've kept on attempting to reorder the same item using the reactivated voucher for 3 more times, with order each being automatically cancelled for the same reason. 3 of the ...
Few people convinced me to get the Riverside 120 rather than the Giant Escape 3. I've noticed that this community of riders is keen on Decathlon bikes. As I mentioned, I don't have a Decathlon store in my city (Nagpur), so I am not bothered about bike service. Still, if it's that good, I would buy it online. The question is, are the Decathlon bikes that good that it's better than a Giant Escape 3 ...

Did 2 cheap Half-Marathon and the organisation was less than spectacular.
Let me explain what I mean by 'Cheap' (Bib distributed at the Decathlon store in Gaur Mall, that's totally fine).
1. Registration cost less than Rs.1400 or Rs.1000
2. Kit included a T-Shirt & a Timing Bib
This is not a rant but warning for all my fellow Half-Marathon participants.
Today I did the 4th Edition of...

So I made this table comparing the two. Does anybody know of any more differences between these two?
Don't mind the dutch words, chat gpt made this for me. another section should be cable management: way better on the Sword because cables go inside the frame...
Triban RC100 ownership review, my first and last bike from decathlon.
This will be a detailed review and the issue I faced and how decathlon handled it.
I bought RC100 last November during Black Friday sale, it is my first bike after 8yrs, overall rode it for 4 months(400kms approx) and for 1 month it was in decathlon store.
I'll go in "M check" for my technical review:
1. Tires :- The RC100 comes with 700x28c tires, it's a dual purpose tire, it has good ...
I haven't driven a cycle that cost more than 15k .I have tried Triban bike around 30k inside the decathlon store but it doesn't justify the price . Convince me to buy one ..I need confirmation bias.
I mostly just use my cycle to buy groceries during the weekend.
Pls tell me the for and against buying the RC500.
I had been gnawing my brain on what good Roadbike to buy which wouldn't break my bank. I felt a 9 speed Sora would be best for my biking goals and expectations.
I had visited a decathlon store to have a look at the RC500 but only a small was available and online too was completely out of stock except for small size for the good part of last year...
I’m based in the US but am in Europe now and have been loving the Decathlon stores I first learned about on here. I haven’t gotten a dry bag yet and was thinking of picking one up in Decathlon but it’s Simond brand and I haven’t been able to find much about its quality. Do any of you guys have experience with this one, and if so, would you recommend it? I’m taking my last Ryanair flight ...
My FIL (60) wants to take up cycling after retirement as a means to stay fit and pass the time. What would be a good recommendation for him? I'm considering the Tata Stryder or taking him into a Decathlon store. Please suggest something within a reasonable budget of around 30k.
Any difference with these Artengo TR960s from Thailand & Canada?
Hey guys, I was in the market for a new racket and frequently hit up Decathlon for inexpensive goodies. My wife took my current racket - Wilson Burn 18x16 (was a random demo model I picked up in Canada but have been playing with it for a while now).
Just a casual player, mostly playing with my wife for fun and exercise, took a couple lessons here and there to learn proper techniques, but have be...
