Latest Discussions and Reviews About Costco Stores in USA

I haven’t been changed to the Discover debit and I’m already seeing problems.

Yesterday, 9/14/2025, I received the email from Capital alone notifying me of the new Discover debit card. I have seen many posts about the problems with using the new debit card oversees. Frankly, I found the posts puzzling because using debit cards oversees, which offer direct access to my own cash, is risky. I have always travelled with credit card, cash and cashier’s checks, although those...

Is there any difference with Pokemon Center vs . . .

What are the differences between PC Booster Boxes, Booster Bundles, and other PC tcg cards (aside from ETBs) than with regular ones I could get from like Gamestop, Walmart, Target, or Costco and from LCSs? The prices are obviously lower due to lcs and/or market prices not having an impact (I know that stores sell near or about msrp) but are the cards different? Are the promos different (in things...

Source for organic gluten free oats?

My wife is GF. We were getting a great deal on GF organic sprouted oats at Costco, from One Degree Organic Foods. They stopped carrying them and everything else now cost 5x. I feel like I’m getting ripped off. Any tips? Any stores or brands to check out?

Where to buy groceries?

Calling all US celiacs! Where do you buy your groceries? Looking for balance between selection and affordability. Would love your pros/cons, tips and tricks, etc. Ideally 1 place for everything but would consider separating for a produce service for ex. I shop at Giant and am wondering if it’s worth switching to another store and reading a million labels and replacing my go-to items. HUGE plus ...

I am hating living in Europe as a pregnant mom.

I have a 2&3year old and am in my third trimester, which where we’re from (small midwestern American city) is not some outrageous family size. Where we are now living (large European city) we are a fucking freak show act. Everywhere we go people are gawking at me and not in a “you’ve sure got your hands full, I remember those days” type of way like in the US. It’s like cold sile...

Help a newb pick 4 bottles

I am very much wanting to get into learning more about wine. Right now however, I'm about to go on a cruise and am allowed to take 4 bottles with me. I'd like a 'champagne' (real or sparkling), a red and two whites. I'm going to list some of my favorites based on remarks I've made in Vivino. White: Costco Nobilo New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc White. This is my go to daily drinker. I tend to like Ne...

NSV: Costco Clothes Haul

My wife likes to "lollygag" around stores - where we grab a coffee, walk around a store(s) for an hour without the intent of buying anything, but still have fun looking at the merch. Costco is a frequent target for this. While I do accompany her, when she starts to meander around the middle section where all of the clothes are placed, I'd generally look wistfully at some of the nice th...

Best credit card for future travel

Hi all, I have a pretty specific scenario I am looking for advice on. I am not the most financially savvy person, and I don't know all the best credit cards or their benefits. So I will be happy to hear what you all have to say on the matter. (edited to add template) My husband and I will be moving from Indiana to California. He is a teacher, and I will be in grad school. We currently have the Ch...

Boomers and Costco

We shop almost extensively at Costco so we are executive members. Costco recently began offering executive members early access to the store. So I’m out running errands and Costco is close enough that I dont mind waiting in the car for 10-15 minutes until they open at 9 so I can grab a few things. Not the boomers though, at 8:50 there is a line forming to get into the store…

Overstimulation, how does it appear for you and triggers?

So I’ve noticed patterns when I get overstimulated like I tend to get overly irritated/anxious and it happens more in crowded areas like grocery stores, gathering places, and places that are very loud. For example, Costco is like overstimulation hell for me. I get super irritated and it sometimes puts me in a bad mood the rest of the day. I find crowds of people, all the noise, bright lights, ho...

Costco - Worth it?

Hej. Jeg har været med i Costco to gange, og må indrømme at jeg er undervældet. Kan det betale sig? Vi skal flytte om lidt, og gad godt købe nogle store kasser fra Greenmade, men sidst jeg var der, havde de ikke engang dem.

🚨 I’ve Been Using Notion Since 2020, Built 50+ Templates… and I’m Dropping ALL My Free Ones Here (yes, FREE!)

Okay, story time. When I first opened Notion back in 2020, I thought, *“Cool, this will help me get my life together.”* **Spoiler: it didn’t. Not right away.** I made ugly dashboards. I copied other people’s templates that looked aesthetic, but never stuck. I wasted hours making pages that I stopped using the next day. And honestly, I felt like a failure because everyone else on YouTub...

How are Aldi diapers?

The title is pretty self explanatory. I’ve been getting Costco brand diapers (they’re literally the same as Huggies). I’m already planning an Aldi run today. I would like to avoid going to another store just for diapers. Are they worth it or do they leak? Update: thanks for everyone’s input! Just got back from Aldi. They had the size I needed. Just changed my baby so wish me luck on not h...

Noticed a new charger network in town: Mercedes

Was heading out to Costco, and happened to notice this new strip of chargers not quite open yet. Two main things popped out at me: the Mercedes-Benz logo and nothing else on it, and the two sets of CSS and NACS connectors per station. Two thoughts enter my mind as an well, on one hand this is weird placement because there’s decidedly no Mercedes-anything (or automaker/dealership) around there,...

Building 'Forever Home', many expenses payable via CC, what CC to use or open?

Hello, total noob here. I'm recently retired, and now building our 'forever home', with many expenses payable via CC. I want to exploit this opportunity, as I can pay these bills outright but prefer to pay by CC if no additional fee for CC added. I have a an upcoming appliance purchase of 19k--should I get a new CC with SUB or split this expense (and other upcoming expenses) on my current CCs, ...

Three months ago, I told you some of my thoughts about instant ramens. I changed my mind about one and have some new ones.

My original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/InstantRamen/comments/1l8kvu4/ive_finally_started_exploring_better_instant/ At the time, I said that I didn't necessarily see the benefit of the "premium" ramens compared to the cheap Maruchan bricks I was used to. I also said the Nongshim Shin packets weren't good enough to replace the cheaper Maruchans. OK, I want to take the above b...
