Where do you all shop to stock your machines?

I was wondering if a website I built would be useful for this community. And if not how I could update it to be useful. The site lets you cross compare multiple retailers and sort by Price Per Unit/Unit Price. So it could help find items to stock your machines, but I am not sure, if the retailers I have Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Kroger stores, would beat out the suppliers you all use. If that ...

Is it better to buy gift cards from Costco online (digital) or just go in-store and get the physical ones?

I lowkey don’t feel like going to the store rn lol, so I’m tempted to just grab the digital ones. But I’ve seen mixed opinions and I’m not tryna deal with any issues later.

Cheapest evaporated milk in Vancouver?

Costco sells flats of 6 cans of Carnation evaporated milk for $11 (in store; the online price is higher for delivery). https://www.costco.ca/p/-/carnation-evaporated-milk-6-354-ml/100417282 I am making big batches of Chai Karak to have iced with breakfast in the hot summer season, and the most expensive component by far is the evaporated milk. Is there anywhere else in town that I could get it ...

Help Deciding on a Haven Tent: XL or Safari?

Hey, gang. ICYMI, Costco recently added both the Haven XL & Haven Safari systems to their store & I'm stuck between which one to buy. I'm trying to weigh the pros & cons of getting one over the other. All the included fixin's are the same for both: air pump, rainfly, guylines, True Level Pad, etc., so thats not really a factor, and the price difference between the two on ...

Forgot membership card overseas

Hi I have a Costco membership in Australia but I left the card there and I’m currently in Canada. I tired to get it digitally but it needs me to verify in an Australia store. I also have a picture of membership card that I tried to use in store and they didn’t accept it. Any advice? Also would a screenshot of the membership work at a gas pump?? Thank you

I need my Costco membership, I need a cart with functional wheels, and I needed those Foster Farms chicken breast pieces. 4 lbs. Pre-cut. Pre-seasoned. Frozen. Cooks in 10 minutes. NYC's public solution to the food desert problem...

This is relevant to r/neoliberal because the government frankly has no business inserting itself into an already competitive market with low margins. The best-case scenario is for the public store to be outcompeted and quickly shuttered. The worse-case scenario is for it to outcompete Aldo/Costco with state subsidies, and we end up with a horribly inefficient operation being propped up by taxpay...

Help! First time home owners replacing our flooring. Need Advice

Currently trying to decide between Costco's Mohawk LVP and Coretec Manila Oak LVT from a discounted store in our town. Price difference between the two is about $1.45/sqft. This would result in thousands of dollars on our budget. How does Costco's Mohawk LVP compare to actual Coretec? Anyone's experience with one or the other (or both!) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Is Bezos smart or what?

He closed all his Amazon Fresh store fronts and moved to grocery delivery. Looks like Costco can't compete with that. Costco just doesn't carry all the products so you end up buying into everything from Costco except for what you actually wanted. Coming from a long retail background from Smart and Final, he basically did what we could not. He created the Amazon private labels and offered them ...

Bulk (Cheap) pool chemical store in Austin (ideally north, but anywhere works)?

Any suggestions as to where to buy bulk (or cheap) pool chemicals or supplies? I need a ton of chlorine, muriatic acid, and baking soda. Home Depot, Walmart, Costco are all decently priced - Leslie's is very expensive, but I wanted to know if there were any local stores/warehouses that sell in bulk. Thanks!

Beef jerky sliced

Dumb question, but I typically always go to Costco and get pounds of top/eye round, throw it in the freezer for 30 min then slice it myself. I just don’t feel like dealing with that this time. Can you get the meat sliced by the butcher at any typical grocery store? Have any places you recommend? I wanna treat my military buds by bringing my dehydrator in and let it go for 4 hours and then we can...

Why Some YGO "Influencers" Scoff Away Idea of Printing Multiple Rarities?

TL;DR: I'm a new YGO player and am wondering why other YGO players scoff away the idea of printing same cards in multiple rarities like in OCG. YGO players deflect by pointing to Pokemon's scalper problem. But this is not true. Scalpers have not hurt the secondary market for players. We just had a meta relevant card that literally goes into every deck be $30-$40 each as the prerelease price. Now i...

I’ve Read that Japanese Shops are Straight Up Gatekeeping, and I’m all here for it.

I was recently reading an article where Japanese card shops are taking drastic measures to fight scalpers and I am 100% in favor of it. Such methods include: 1. Scribbling all over the packaging or writing “not for resale” 2. Only charging MSRP if the customer agrees to having the product opened in front of them, or they get charged market value. 3. Ripping the sealed plastic off boxes. 4. A...

Replacing Recessed Gimbal Light w/ Flat LED Retrofit

I have 2 bulbed recessed gimbal light in the bathroom with vaulted ceilings and one stationary one in the hallway. I got some Phillips retrofit LEDs from Costco the other day and got about installing them today. The flat one did just fine, had to move the bracket that holds the socket up so the screw in plug and wiring can all fit. The gimbal lights I took the spring loaded socket out of the tr...

The best bowls to buy online in 2026

Whenever I shop, I genuinely looked at everything. I looked at hundreds of **circular** bowls that **aren't too wide** and are available to the US, just for a bowl of cereal that would last and it's big, because I like to eat on a big bowl of cereal and I also want a bowl that can work for anything else. So much of what I found has been untrustworthy or has come with defects, many even lied about...
