Quickcomfort QC at Costco

Bought these last week for $170 on sale. How do they compare with the Ultra model? Forums thoughts on this particular model? I wasn't impressed with noise cancellation while traveling on a prop plane last week. https://www.costco.com/p/-/bose-quietcomfort-sc-noise-cancelling-headphones/4000229272?storeId=10301&partNumber=4000229272&catalogId=10701&langId=-1&krypt...

Side sleeper mattress help

Looking for some mattress firmness suggestions. Side sleeper, 5'6", 210 lbs Up until recently, I had a Costco Novaform for the last 11 years. For the last several months, it was indenting more and more (rolling over in bed felt like rolling up a steep hill). I started waking in the middle of the night with pain from my shoulder down to my hip on my sleeping side. I replaced it with a Le...

White Matter Edema

31F, 190lbs, Vyvanse and Wellbutrin TLDR; what could be causing my symptoms and the episode of white matter edema? I’ve been having symptoms for a while now (since March 2024). They are a very broad, but I’ve only been diagnosed with SIBO (treated), eczema, autonomic dysfunction. Earlier this year I was struggling with all kinds of symptoms and weird episodes and I had no idea what they wer...

Where can I get info on which foods are likely to be contaminated by pathogens no longer tracked by the CDC and how to eat them?

Every time I do a google search for the listeria food outbreak, it comes up with the pasta recalls. The only reason I know that peaches and deli meats seem to be a problem too is that I follow a scientist on social media. She provided a list of foods that are commonly at risk for listeria contamination and mentioned the other pathogens no longer being tracked by the CDC, but it was very brief. I'm...

Diaper recs??

Daughter will be 2 next month and is tall and lean. Huggies skin essentials are what we’ve used for many months but wondering if there is another diaper that people prefer? I’m sort of over having to always order them and pay for shipping from Sam’s since none of the stores around us carry them. She had sensitive skin which is why we made the switch from Huggies little movers. We have access...

The mini "beignets" filled with chocolate hazelnut are quite good

I've seen a couple of posts about Costco's new bakery item, the mini "beignets" filled with chocolate hazelnut (item #1970320, $9.99). I live in the Bay Area and gave these a try. They are fluffy, chewy, and delicious. Best if eaten within two days of purchase (from my experience). Very worth trying. Brought a box to a Halloween party, and they were a hit. I succumbed to sugar overload...

Has Ralph's added their extra security bars yet?

About two weeks ago, I was at the Downtown Ralph's and noticed the entire front area was filled with black bars to prevent shoplifting. There were forced entrance and exit routes and even had the self-checkout lanes forcing you to scan your receipt in order to exit the area. I had spoke to a security guard at the Hillcrest store and they said Ralph's is adding these horrendous security zones to ...

Considering switching

Hi I’m considering switching to T-Mobile. It would just be one line, need a new phone (iPhone 17, usually do the the pro max’s but probably down sizing with this next phone). May get a new iPad and upgrade my watch with them but don’t necessarily need internet on either, so it just depends on if it makes sense to or not. As far as streaming, I have Hulu for free through Spotify. Don’t ...

Great Service by ATT (not sarcasm)

With all the negative publicity ATT gets here, I’ll share my experience: 9/17 - ordered new 17 Pro online through Costco. Website says will ship on 10/6. 10/2 - bill showed $35 activation charge. 10/6 - phone shipped and tax posted to credit card 10/7 - phone received and activated 10/9 - dropped off phone at store for trade-in; immediately showed up online as having been returned awaiting...

Reflections from my out of state and mostly outdoors wedding

In case this is useful to anyone, sharing some of my reflections post-wedding. For context, we got married out of state (Michigan) in an atypical venue - basically a private community on a lake where spouse's parents are members. We had to rent almost everything and have it delivered. We had a budget of $60k through a mix of parents' and our own contributions but actual costs came closer to $69k. ...

How can I sign up for membership without my job qualifying?

I've downloaded the app and it gives me the option to pay for an in-store membership for £42 - if I buy that and stroll up to my local Costco will they turn me away when they find out my job doesn't qualify? If so are there other ways around this to obtain a membership? I've heard setting up your own limited company can work but that seems like a massive headache .

Greers Chapel Drive/Roberts Bridge over I-75 is open to traffic (sort of)

After a long period of construction, the new bridge by Home Depot is finally open. You can cross from the east but only to the hotels, as the road remains under construction toward Costco. It may be accessible from the west, but only by navigating a couple of parking lots. On the Home Depot side, there is an oddly-shaped traffic circle where the south (new) store entrance is…the north store en...

New store- Online orders?

Hi all. We are eagerly awaiting the new Auckland NZ IKEA opening in December. My partner and I have bought loads of IKEA through the years (in the US) and always preferred ordering large items online for pickup/delivery. The crush of crowds will be high for a while (Costco is still a novelty three years in) so if I can order online I’d prefer it. Is this a feature we should expect out the gate...

Aisle system

Does Costco have an aisle system? They are after all a warehouse and not a traditional grocery store. I often have a hard time finding things even after circling multiple times. I also think their floor staff have grown tired of my location questions by telling me they’re in the back..

Great Product Restock Experience

My daughter started at a new school and was introduced to Pokemon. I was a card collector as a kid (not Pokemon though), so I’m of the mindset that you get cards by buying and opening packs. I casually started looking for packs of Pokemon cards for her and accidentally happened to be at Costco for a drop. My daughter was so happy! Seeing how much she loved opening packs and putting cards in her...

Same-day delivery time slots don't matter apparently.

Tl;Dr order delivered too early, eaten by wildlife, sucks to suck. I always go to the warehouse to do my shopping, but my friend told me about same-day delivery to my area and I would love to avoid the chaos of in-store shopping if I can. I typically buy coffee pods, meats, and toiletries at Costco so it's usually a once a month shopping trip. I decided to place a same-day order. The time slot...

Is liquid death considered soda? And if so where do you go to buy it?

Once I saw it in one of those mini fridges in a hardware store. I've heard it's at Wegmans. One time I even saw a pallet in Costco but it's so damn hard to find it
