My iphone 13 pro max has been stuck on the [support.apple.com/iphone/restore](http://support.apple.com/iphone/restore) screen for a day, I've tried resetting the phone to factory settings via my macbook, but after 20 ish seconds 'preparing' the phone disconnects from the computer and goes back to the restore screen. Is the only fix to take it to the apple store at this point?

When I initially rotate the crown no matter the direction, there is a slight resistance or click feeling initially.
