I got a brand new macbook pro m4 16inch from apple store, but the battery life is terrible, is it possible i got a defective one? I would have thought that type of thing would be extremely rare. For context my cpu usage is around 10-20%, I just use chrome. On battery saving, it lasts 6 hours for me. Is it worth bothering for a exchange? I have 48gb ram 1tb which isn't in stock so i'd have to wait ...

ipad power button broken

a few months back, i dropped my ipad and it fell directly on its power button. it doesn’t turn on anymore because the button is dented in. i took it to the apple store they told me i would have to order a replacement unit. i don’t have apple care so it would be full price ($899). does anyone have any cheaper suggestions on what i can do instead? should i try to take it to a tech repair shop?

There’s no ring/text tones in Apple Store for scanlans hand. I found the perfect 5 sec tone and had to edit it in garage band.
